We usually start by going up to the observation floor of the Westin Hotel which overlooks the Mississippi river. The river THE reason why we are here and why opportunities/growth, slavery, our wealth, Creole culture, 2 major battles, and so much more. Multiple countries and governments have fought for control of this mighty river.

French Quarter

A drive through the iconic and historic French Quarter of New Orleans. Just a summary, a detailed tour would take 2 hours.

St. Louis Cemetery No. 3

A walk through one the most iconic cemeteries in the world with a description of why we bury our citizens the way we do. A must see in New Orleans. From Iconic graves sites, Catholic Influence and a different way of internment than anywhere else in the world.

New Orleans City Park

A drive through this beautiful park and show off our amazing Live Oak Trees. (Guests are responsible for payment of food or drinks.)

Lake Pontchartrain

Stop at Lake Pontchartrain for group photo opportunity. We will also discuss its unique characteristics and see a world record bridge.

Stop at an excellent seafood restaurant on the Lake. Felix's is highly recommended and well known for their great seafood, Po-Boys as well as many other excellent options. Check it out - "Felix's" on the lake. Guest is responsible for cost so food and drinks.

A drive down St. Charles Avenue, stopping to talk about the Mansions, Estates, homes and also see Loyola and Tulane Universities while discussing their history. Also have many photo Opportunities on this route. The Homes and Mansions are amazing! If time permits, we'll drive through some of the back streets too. Beautiful trees, gardens, homes, and stories.

If time permits, we will stop and see the amazing 450 year old Tree of Life, Oldest Live Oak tree in New Orleans. Another great photo op for your group.

This is the best tour of New Orleans we have ever participated in. Glen was informative, funny and showed us so much of New Orleans that we seem to never see. I wouldn’t miss this tour for the world!!

We had a wonderful tour of New Orleans and surrounds with Glen. We were a group of 9 coming from a cruise. Glen picked us up right at the port in a comfortable van and gave us a great tour. He is a warm and very friendly person. His depth of knowledge about the area was terrific. We learned so much. We had a wonderful lunch as well. He was easy to work with as well. All in all it was a great trip for our whole group. Would recommend him without hesitation.

My husband and I had a great day with Glen learning about the city and checking out the most popular sites! Glen has a genuine interest in his customers and making sure they have a fabulous experience. We stopped at a restaurant for lunch and had chargrilled oysters for the first time. Absolutely incredible! Highly recommend.

This tour was incredible!! Glen is an awesome and very knowledgeable guy who really loves New Orleans and can give you the point of this city . Learned a ton ! And also had great local recs too . Glen is very flexible and reliable. Our flight was delayed and he was waiting for us in the airport. I forgot my jacket in the car and he brought it back to the hotel for me. He’s a real gentleman with nice south charm manners! Greatly recommend this tour - you will have a pleasant and informative ride :)

Glen was very knowledgeable and great tour guide. Our only issue was that we spent an hour+ at a lunch spot but that time was added into our total tour time which doesn’t seem quite fair. We could have skipped the big lunch and not paid $100 to our guide for the time we spent at lunch.

Just finished with our tour and I can tell you hands down that Glen knows New Orleans and gives you your moneys worth . We had a great time and I highly recommend it for anyone that wants to see and understand New Orleans . WARNING - 4 hours goes by super fast so sit back and enjoy Glen with all his dad jokes

We absolutely adored Glen and thoroughly enjoyed his tour! We toured all over the city and stopped for lunch at this great place he recommended. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating. We've been on a couple other tours before but I'd say this was our favorite. If you're a fan of history and curious how New Orleans got to be the way it is, hit up Mr. Henley!

Glen was the perfect tour guide. Communications were perfect as he cleared up our questions before the tour and was open to adjusting to accommodate our group. Hotel pickup was made in a nice sized vehicle that was perfect for our needs. He has complete knowledge of the city's history and offered many interesting insights during the tour. The tour itself had stops at the sites we were most interested in visiting, including a beautifully scenic stop for lunch. All stops allowed us the right amount of time to explore and take photos. Since we only had the half day for sightseeing this tour was the perfect way to for us to experience New Orleans. We experienced far more of the city than we otherwise would have been able to. Highly recommend this tour!

We enjoyed our trip with Glen. My wife and I had been in town for two weeks, but our daughter just came into town. Glen arranged our trip to not show things we had already visited, but still give us a great view of New Orleans. We started with a magnificent view of the river from high. Glen then showed us the different neighborhoods in the city pointing out the architectural differences and the history behind them. He did this in a friendly and professional way. He picked us up from our Air B&B and dropped us off at the French Quarter as we requested. I would recommend his tour highly.
