30 minutes or more late starting due to schedule confusion with other guests and changing the vehicle. Sights and road closed , missed or paths too ‘wet’ to explore. Not sure we got 3 hours as the 10:00 am began about 10:45 and we were dropped off at 1pm so the guide could pick up the couple who missed the 10am. That was a bit confusing.

What a wonderful trip we had!! Daryl was our guide and he sets the bar for excellence. His knowledge of the area and history was amazing!! Saw far more than we expected and the delicious lunch was fantastic!! Definitely is a must do

Our guide and driver were friendly and knowledgeable! They were helpful and tried to accommodate everyone's needs. Tour was nicely paced with ample time to explore the stops, ask questions, and take pictures. Would highly recommend!

I will start by saying that Gavin was an excellent tour guide. He's very knowledgeable and answered any and all questions. The tour is very thorough and interesting. Our only complaint is that we thought this was a private tour with only us. We were disappointed to find it was with a large group from our ship. Your information states "This is a private tour/activity. Only your group will participate". Although we were all on the Windstar cruise we were not traveling together. Another couple we talked with expressed the same concern. So, I recommend this tour but be aware that you may be sharing the tour with others

The driver was very knowledgeable and there were several interesting stops. I particularly enjoyed Dunstaffnage Castle and the Scottish cattle. We also enjoyed the seafood at the end. I wished we had spent more time viewing the ancient stones in Kilmartin Glen. FYI This was booked as a private excursion but there was a total 14 passengers in the mini van. Even so it was a good experience and worth the price.

Daryl was an absolutely fantastic guide! We had such a great day with him. He really went above and beyond to make our experience as memorable as possible! Unfortunately there was a serious car accident so we had to be rerouted as the road was closed, but Daryl made the best of it and we got to stop off at the Fairy pools! Highly recommend this tour and Daryl!

The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, but unless you are Scottish and/or love and know a lot about the history of Scotland/the battles between clans, this tour was a bit of a let down for us non-Scots. The highlight was visiting a small church outside the city - it's on a river and the interior is very quaint; built for the architect's mother. The seafood wasn't the best either, and you have to grab a space to sit, if there is one. Saw several castles (without going in) and drove through the "back country" where we did see a few of the long-haired Scottish cows, but that was it. Oban, however, is a fun and pretty coastal town.

We loved the The “hairy Coos” and the. Kirk!Loved the driver’s stories! A wonderful way to learn Scottish history.

Our tour guide Heather was absolutely amazing. Her knowledge of the history of the surrounding areas of Oban in addition to her own personal experience as an archaeological student and forager gave such a wonderfully rich tour full of neat facts and surprises along the way. 10/10 would recommend!

Martin was a fun and interesting tour guide. We loved St Kirk’s and the castles. The country side was beautiful.
