Disappointing. Driver Lee was shouting at other drivers, smearing celebrities of the homes we were looking at, not always factually accurate with his information. Just not a good vibe. Would try a different tour.

Starline was fantastic! We did the original Hollywood homes tour and it was fun, informative and unique. Definitely something everyone should do if you’re in LA! The open buses are a blast and the guides know so much and are funny. Doing the tour really made our day in Hollywood 100 times better! Would recommend to everyone!

The driver drove past tour highlights so fast there was hardly time to look, let alone take a photo. We did not actually stop once, apparently he wasn’t even allowed to stop at off road sightseeing spots. This tour is an absolute waste of money. We booked on the street and were given a small discount at least. I don’t have one clear photo that’s worth sharing. The tour started about 10 minutes late and ended 10 minutes early, so it was way less than 2 hours as well.

This was ok, not brilliant just ok, but it could have been so much better. Obviously you’re not going to be going right up to the front door of homes but it would be more accurate to call it ‘Celebrity Homes Front Gates’ tour. The guide had a habit of pointing things out, either as you got there or in one case when you had just passed by, so it would be better if they said “coming up on your left in 30 seconds is …”. The view of the Hollywood sign is a 10 second stop peering through some trees. On the plus side it was good to see different areas of LA.

I'm a local and decided to join my visiting relatives on the tour, and it was really fun. Our tour guide was Alan, and he was the perfect kind of funny for this kind of thing. He was informative and a great driver, and kept us all engaged from beginning to end. If you're going in May just remember that it can be cold so make sure to bring a sweater, that way you can just kick back and enjoy the ride.

Our driver Alan was a wonderful tour guide! Driving through the LA traffic was safe, his jokes were fun, and the places were interesting.

Alan was an amazing tour guide! The views were great and everything he said was fun and informative. Even in the traffic and on the curvy hill roads I felt safe the whole time

I was very exited at the thought of going on this tour, things did not start off well! Don’t be fooled on the booking site when it says ‘only 9 places left for this slot’. The van only took 8. The website states to get there 30 minutes early, they emailed me 8 minutes before my estimated arrival time to say they had delayed my ride. This is not acceptable when you have already parked in an extremely expensive car park. When I turned up at the kiosk my QR code on my phone wouldn’t scan so I was directed to ‘the boss’, the man sitting down in the black shirt. He definitely should not be working in tourism or customer service. He was the rudest most ignorant man I have come across. There is not enough salt and ketchup in LA for the size of the chip on his shoulder. On the actual tour, there wasn’t a great deal about current stars and where they live but we learned a lot about arboriculture and topiary! If you go on this tour be prepared to get cold. Also, I find the suggestion that the tour guides are underpaid and have to survive on their tips somewhat fanciful. The arrogance of the man suggesting how much I should tip him is beyond description. $10 per person by the way! Would I do this trip again….. No way!!!!
