2-Hour Hollywood Bus Tour

recently took a Hollywood bus tour that promised a glimpse into the lives of the rich and famous, with a special focus on the luxurious neighborhood of Holmby Hills. It definitely delivered on that promise! The tour bus was comfortable and well-equipped with large windows, perfect for snapping pictures of the stunning mansions. Our guide was both knowledgeable and entertaining, sharing fascinating tidbits about the history of the area and the celebrities who call Holmby Hills home. We drove past the iconic Playboy Mansion, which was a highlight for many on the bus. The guide regaled us with stories about Hugh Hefner and the legendary parties that took place there. We also got to see the former estates of Hollywood legends like Walt Disney and Frank Sinatra, as well as the current residences of modern-day stars like Beyoncé and Jay-Z. One of the most impressive stops was the Spelling Manor, a 56,500-square-foot estate that truly embodies the excess and grandeur of the neighborhood. The guide provided insider details about the architecture and the opulent interiors, making us feel like we were getting a sneak peek into a world usually reserved for the ultra-wealthy. While the tour was mostly drive-by, we did get a chance to step off the bus at a scenic overlook, offering panoramic views of Los Angeles and the surrounding hills. It was a great spot for photos and a moment to take in the beauty of the city from a high vantage point. They spent a few extra minutes at certain locations so you can fully appreciate the grandeur of the homes. Some of the high walls and dense foliage around some of the properties meant that we couldn’t always see as much as we would have liked. Overall, the Hollywood bus tour through Holmby Hills was an exciting and glamorous experience. If you’re a fan of celebrity culture and want a taste of how the other half lives, this tour is definitely worth it. Just be sure to bring your camera and maybe a pair of binoculars to catch all the details! One of the guys on the tour was a Marine!! Hoorah, Semper Fi!!! So go on out and have some fun on this tour!!!

Our tour guide Michael was five stars! We had a great time on the tour. However, I’d recommend you go with a different operator. We booked this tour for 4:15 PM and when we showed up at 4 o’clock, we were told that there would be a delay. The other family had called ahead and they were stuck on the freeway in traffic, supposedly. We were told we’d wait for them for 15 minutes so we should walk around and come back by 4:30. When we came back at 4:23 the gentleman said “where have you been? We were looking for you. You were supposed to be here at 4:15. The bus left without you.” Very sketchy and upsetting. They put us on a 5 o’clock which “happened” to have two seats open. And like I said, the tour itself was great. But if this is how they do business… I would recommend finding an operator with integrity who will not manipulate the situation.

One of the worst expieriences I had in LA and Hollywood! There are so many bus tours and we picked the worst :-( Stuff unfriendly, manager unfriendly and the screw us, because we paid for translations and didn't get any devices. After long discusions we gobt some ear plugs and they didn't work. Very bad...

Michael was an excellent tour guide with a great sense of humor and a wealth of knowledge about Hollywood.. Very knowledgeable about the movies and culture of the Los Angeles area.
