    What to expect

    We will meet in Palermo and then we will move to the Woods, about 55 minutes by car, where we will start the truffle hunt. At the end of the activity we could taste the freshly picked truffles. Activities will be structured as follows: - BAPTISM OF THE WOOD Meeting point and welcome by truffle hunters and their 4-legged friends. Description of the activities and Baptism ceremony of the Wood; - TRUFFLE HUNT Participants will live an experience where they will be actively involved both in dog commands and in truffle extraction. -THE MYSTERIES OF THE TRUFFLE HUNTER During the hunt you will be described how and where a truffle is born, what it really is and what are the edible species and symbiotic plants. - LUNCH AND TRUFFLE (for those who want to do it) To close the experience you can enjoy either a lunch in the woods, or a truffle-based lunch at the restaurant
