Our tour guide was great. Knowledgeable and informative. But they canceled the bus and we had to take the train instead. Taking the train from town to town took a lot of time spent waiting for it’s arrival. It took 4 hours to get home and the train was so packed we couldn’t sit down. We left at 6:15 am and got back at 10:30pm. It was nice, but I found the day too exhausting and trains too claustrophobic.

Luca was a great guide. Very informative and very funny! He made sure everything went smoothly from the beginning all the way to end where he made sure we all had taxis/transport to where we needed to go. Will go back again and would highly recommend!

I was obliged to write this review because my wife and I had a wonderful trip for which we would like to thank our hosts. I usually plan my trips on my own and rarely do organized tours. Our impressions of the tours visited so far have been mixed and this is the first tour we are very pleased with. The reason for avoiding such organized tours is that usually the time to visit is very short and when they include food it is not enough in quantity or not of good quality. I chose this tour carefully among many others, finding it to be with good value/experience ratio. When I tried to organize my trip on my own, I realized that if traveling by train/bus from Florence it would be very difficult for one to visit all the sites. I am very pleased that this time I chose this tour. Our guides were Alberto and Paola. The trip was very well planned and organized, with plenty of time to visit the most important sites in the cities. The price of the trip includes train tickets, a boat trip and lunch. Lunch was in a small restaurant that was not overlooking the sea, but for that the food was delicious and sufficient in quantity. We also felt the good attitude of the staff, which rarely happens in large groups. We thank them for their hospitality. The boat trip was exciting, with amazing view of Cinque Terre and the Ligurian coast. Be sure to visit Portovenere, which is absolutely beautiful!!! We were back in Florence late at night. In conclusion, I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to visit Cinque Terre from Florence.

I had another tour with Anastasia the guide. She’s always helpful, patience and kind. Absolutely 5 star. Highly recommended.

Difficult to find meeting area. Once on tour guides were great! Lunch was very disorganized by the restaurant. Staff was overwhelmed with the tour. Food was great! Tour went longer than expected. Scheduled from 8:00 am and went until 8:30 pm.

This is a mediocre tour company. A tour to them means taking you to a place then pointing you in the direction of the local cathedral and sending you on your way. It's more a ride to and from the location with someone who will tell you where to meet the bus or train for the next portion of your visit. Also, on our tour the bus broke down on the way back to Florence. Fortunately this was at a truck stop (we were dropping of people that had been picked up there). Unfortunately the guide told everyone "10 minutes" and discouraged them from getting anything to eat or drink at the stop. Needless to say it was nearly 2 hours before another bus came to pick us up. Most people ignored the guide (the driver was more honest about the delay when we asked him). When we arrived back, no mention of any reimbursement just a "Sorry". Also you can get this tour without the lunch and just go on your own. If you really have to go to Cinque Terre skip the lunch, but your better off looking for a real tour and not use Mytour.
