We want to thank Luca, who was an amazing guide! Murano is a beautiful island to visit for a few hours! Watching the talent of the glass artisans was simply amazing, then being able to create my own earrings in the workshop is something I will always remember! The glass show room was incredible to look at but the prices were very high for my financial options!

This was an amazing tour. Our guide was knowledgeable and pick up location easy to find. We purchase some amazing glass glasses at the gift shop.

Fun workshop making bracelet and watching glass making artists. The showroom was fabulous to see. Highly recommend going on this tour. Giovanni was very personable.

Our guide Giovani made our day! The glass was beautiful and the pace of the tour leisurely. Very interesting demonstration.

Our guide was very nice and helpful. Unfortunately, the overall tour was unimpressive. I thought we would be taught more about Venice and the history behind the glass but it was barely touched on. The meeting point was hard to find, we got lost a few times , which also made this day very stressful. When we arrived at the glass factory we saw a quick demo about how they make a vase and horse but that was it. We then were put into a room with the option to do 2 lame projects that had nothing to do with glass blowing... a mosaic (for which you only had one option) or making jewelry. I could have done that anywhere. It felt like one big scam to get you to buy their costly glass. I would not recommend this specific tour.

Starting from the beginning, we booked the experience and were expecting a shared transfer. We met our guide and found out we were having a private tour with private transfer! We were like, “okay… we’re not complaining!” We figured no one else probably booked the same tour as we did, but you know what? We take any win we can get! So anyway, our guide arranged for a private water taxi that took us there and back at no additional charge - completely included in the tour. My mother loves glass blowing and has taken some classes on it, herself, so this was something she was particularly interested in. However, because she’s done classes and had prior exposure to it, I think it just didn’t wow her as much as she thought it would because she’s done a lot of the things they demonstrate in the viewing. For my part, it was fascinating to watch the Maestro work on the glass - especially when he made the animal figurines! Other than that though, I wasn’t really wowed. There was a bigger group and then us two, so we joined them in the demonstration but then went to a small, back office to make our jewelry. (We both decided to make earrings). Then we walked the showroom and my mother bought quite a few items. A lot of people in their reviews were mentioning the push of sales. Our guy said to us that we were free to roam and they don’t like to hover, yet he did hover. He walked into every room we walked into and stood there watching, interjecting every now and then to tell us about a piece. And honestly, that’s probably their job to follow you around and of course, they’re sales people, but it was just interesting that he proceeded to do the very opposite of what he said. But let me be clear that we didn’t at all feel pressured to buy anything. We bought stuff because we wanted to and my mom found some gifts for family and friends. Overall, I think it was a good experience, especially because we got lucky with the private tour and transportation part of it, but I don’t really think it’s worth the money. I don’t mean to say it’s not worth doing at all, but that it should maybe be a little cheaper considering that all you do is watch a glass blowing demonstration and then shop. Sure, you get to make something and your money goes towards that as well, I suppose, but I don’t think it’s something we feel we ever need to do again.

I wish it wasn’t even possible to give this tour a 1 star. It started off good with high hopes. You meet in the middle of a plaza and walk to a hotel for pickup by water taxi. The guide then drops you off at the factory for a max 10 min demonstration where no one really talks or says anything. You are then guided to another room for what can only be described as “arts and crafts for a child”. You are given an option to glue glass onto a wood shape or make a beaded bracelet or earrings. Lastly, you are dropped off in a show room where prices are outrageous. Our initial tour guide could tell we weren’t happy and asked us very rudely what we could possibly expect that would be more. He then moved up our water taxi back and dropped us off in the plaza with no words. Worst tour in Italy.

This was a fun tour. The glasswork is amazing and it was fun to make something to take home. We really enjoyed getting to watch the demonstration as well. I would definitely recommend this

Got a free taxi arranged by our hotel to visit Murano- the taxi boat was the highlight of the trip for sure. Arrived at the glass factory and a glass maestro was doing his thing. Quite interesting to be fair. Then the hard sell- you are led into a number of rooms containing VERY expensive glass sculptures etc (very clever pieces of art) and then into a more affordable area. Felt obliged to buy something to cover the taxi cost, fair enough. Was a little bit annoyed when down the road are a number of shops selling the same items at a fraction of the price. Once you leave the glass factory premises you are no longer their friend. Murano is pretty, so nice to see that.

The demonstration was 15 mins long which was really cool. they almost forgot to have us do pur craft workshop and then the big even seemed to be taking you into the store which is overly priced … better off just getting a taxi ride over to Murano and walking around the island and walking into the glass factory and then finding Murano glass in those other shops or around Venice.
