Tower of London

(Pass by)

The Tower of London, founded by William the Conqueror in 1066-7, is one of the world’s most famous fortresses yet despite its grim reputation as a place of torture and death, there are so many more stories to be told. The ancient stones reverberate with dark secrets, priceless jewels glint in fortified vaults and ravens strut the grounds.

Westminster Abbey

An essential addition to any visit to London and set in the heart of the city, Westminster Abbey is legendary and iconic. Boasting a rich history that spans over one thousand years, the site was originally occupied by Benedictine monks in the middle of the tenth century. The current gothic masterpiece has stood there for about 700 years. The imperious gothic master work is truly breathtaking and the intricate stained glass is some of the most beautiful in the UK.

Big Ben

(Pass by)

The Elizabeth Tower, also known as “Big Ben“, dates from 1858 and had its 150th anniversary in 2009. It is one of the most iconic symbols of the UK and a must see attraction in London. Big Ben is famous in the world for its accuracy and for its massive bell.

Awful experience! Not worth £5.... nevermind the £40 charged! 'English speaking tour guide' who could not speak English. Amateurish from start to finish. Zero value for money. Customer Service rude, disrespectful and dismissive. Do not waste your money with this company!

Sorry this was extremely disappointing. The bus was to hot, the air conditioning turned up so loud to cool us down couldn't hear the commentary. The blue lights to light up the Interior of the bus meant we couldn't take any pictures outside from the windows as the lights reflected. First time to London on Christmas Eve I was expecting front row seats to the lights or at least some local knowledge. The best thing about the tour was the Church where Di and Charles were married we could get put of the bus. A toilet stop would have been great. I was so looking forward to this and all I wanted to do was get off. Then we were stuck in the traffic for Christmas Eve,some forward planning could have avoided this.

The tour guide and entire experience was amazing!!! We got information on the history of Christmas lights in some of London’s most iconic areas and were treated to a bottle of mulled wine!

Tour was in a coach Bus, I was under the impression with the title Illuminations it would be a double decker w/ an open top for photos, but it was more of a history lesson on London. Very disappointing. Would not recommend.

Just want to say thank you on behalf of all 15 who went in this tour, everything was so well organised from the boarding point to the tour - the tour guide was excellent so informative and interesting. He was very knowledgeable with many quirky antidotes about various places we passed would certainly recommend this tour to any age group. The tour bus was very clean inside and out and comfortable, we were give protective capes for the slight drizzle as it is an open top bus tour. Our thanks to the driver, guide and all staff concerned if you get a chance to do this tour I throughly recommend it.

The tour was great. I had a great time. I was in London only for the weekend. It’s a great way to see the city in such a small amount of time. My guide was Harriet. She was so funny. She had a lot of historical knowledge and fun facts to tell about the city. She almost sang “Feliz Navidad”. I wish she did. She did nevertheless sing “Jingle Bells”.

Our guide William was excellent throughout throughout the journey. His oratory was clear, concise & fun. Ms. Shirley is an expert driver.

The organisation before boarding the bus was atrocious. Staff were disorganised and rude. The weather was wet and cold and the lady in charge should of arrived earlier than she did to advise and help the passengers and drivers who appeared to have no idea or control of the situation. We were sent from 1 bus to the other for a good 20-30 minutes before finally getting on the bus that we had started at. The tour guide and driver of our bus (David & Ivan) did a fine job but we were cold and wet and the steamed up windows didn’t make it the magical experience that I had hoped for.
