Abertarff House is the oldest non-religious building in Inverness, dating back to 1593. It's a townhouse that belonged to the Frasers of Lovat.

Inverness Cathedral

(Pass by)

Inverness Cathedral is the northernmost cathedral in mainland Britain. The building was completed in 1869 but it remains 'unfinished'. They ran out of money and weren't able to build two tall spires. They had to make do with truncated towers instead.

Eden Court Theatre

(Pass by)

Eden Court is the only major arts centre in the Highlands, with a cinema and two theatres. The building includes what used to be the bishop's house. This house was built by Bishop Robert Eden and so the arts centre is named Eden Court.

Inverness Castle is relatively modern, dating to 1834. The building is now a court of law. There is a viewing platform that you can go up to after the tour.
