Mesa Falls

We will drive you to Upper and Lower Mesa to view the main look outs for both of these waterfalls. Some walking is involved at both lookouts additional hiking is an option for those that are interested.

Sheep Falls

A short hiked through the forest will take you to Sheep Falls a secluded waterfall with very few visitors.

Big Springs

At Big Springs you will visit the headwaters to the Famous Henrys Fork of the Snake River. While here visit the historic Johnny Sack Cabin and his water wheel (the cabin is only open seasonal). Also cross the bridge at the springs and try to spot and feed some of the giant trout that call this river home.

Island Park, Idaho has so much to offer from high mountain drives, too scenic waterfalls, birds, wildlife, and so much more. During the day you will travel to these different areas learning about the history, geology, and wildlife that sits on the edge of Yellowstone National Park.
