This was an Anderson Tour that left London at 7:15am, arrived back at 8:30pm, and went to the Isle of Wight. It was a long day, but worth it to see Osborne House of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. Also saw and ate lunch at Shanklin Beach. Another stop was the adorable village, Godshill village. Do see the miniature village set up. It’s actually pretty cool, especially the plantings that are kept to scale for the village. This tour includes the ferry ride over to the island where we saw 2 cruise ships pulling away on our way back. It’s a long day, bit a good one. Our driver was Brendan and he kept us amused and well informed.

Excellent tour of Isle of Wight by coach and ferry, stopping for lunch and and at the Needles cable car to the beach and boat ride out to the Needles , very knowledgeable guide on all aspects of the island. Thoroughly recommend.

Firstly, I will say Mr Gary Our tour guide was amazing. His knowledge and insight of the Isle of White were easy to follow as we walked our way through Godshill village which was beautiful. Gary answered all our questions and even took the time to be our photographer. He gave a few suggestions on what to do as we set off again to The Needles landmarks attraction. It has a stunning view of Alum Bay, a Breathtaking Chairlift and the colourful Totland Bay Rock. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to see the lighthouse or be in the boat due to the windy weather and my daughter was a little disappointed. However, it was an incredibly beautiful and amazing experience. We would highly recommend this tour Thank you, Gary. for your patience and a great tour.

Guide Jerry and driver Tony were good. However I am disappointed with the overall planning of the trip. I booked this trip just for the Needles, but were given very less time of 1.5 hours whereas whole morning and early afternoon could have been utilised by directly going to Needles from harbour.

The Isle of Wight is beautiful, especially the Needles area! I have a 4 instead of 5 because there's too much down time, especially in the AM-- waiting while the Portsmouth guests find the guide and meet up with the Brighton guests who are already on the bus; too much time waiting for the ferry both going and coming; too much extra time at the Needles when we could have spent 45 minutes out of those 2+ hours visiting another interesting attraction on the island. It just didn't move along fast enough compared to many, many tours I've been on.

A lovely day to spend with Family. Gerry was such an excellent guide. He was very clear, organised and informative. The weather was great, so, you kind of want more time to spend on the island, but unfortunately you are bound with the ferry returning time.

I loved this tour! What a great, relaxing and enjoyable way this was to see a lot of the Isle of Wight in one day! It was very well organised. The tour guide, Gerry was excellent! The ferry journeys were very enjoyable too, and the trip and boat ride at the needles were excellent!! Really loved the chairlift at the Needles the most! Great value for money for a 10 hour day out tour. 100% recommend if you want to see a lot of the island in a day. The coach journey was great too. (Thanks Tony!) Loads of photo opportunities 👍 Well done Gerry, Tony and Discovery tours. Would use again 🥇
