Our recent team building event featuring a sushi-making masterclass left much to be desired. The session ended an hour earlier than expected, throwing off our plans and leaving everyone disappointed. The masterclass felt rushed and lacked the intended team-building aspect. The sushi rice was undercooked, and the sushi fell apart easily. Overall, the experience did not meet our expectations. We hope for better organization and execution in future events.

It was fun, but the description was COMPLETELY inaccurate. First of all the description said it was a class for learning about Sashimi, Nigiri, and Sushi. We didn't make Nigiri, or Sashimi. We spent half the time talking about Miso Soup, and not even making it ourselves. There was barely and raw fish, and the quality of it was not that high.

Learning how to make sushi was very good for me. I like eating sushi, and it's nice to know I can make it at home. I went with a friend, and we had a lot of fun together.

We booked the Sushi Cooking class as a mystery competition with some of our clients. It made for a very fun evening and was a welcome change from the typical happy hour or business dinner. The venue, staff and food were excellent. Will definitely keep SelfUp in mind for another networking event.

Chef Danny is the best! Our company has done two classes with him now and he’s the reason we come back! Definitely take his cooking classes with work or friends!
