This is where the tour begins. We'll do a brief ice breaker and warm up. We'll learn about the history of Franklin Square Park and its contribution to the city of Philadelphia.

St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church

Our first rest stop. We will enjoy the view of the large, beautiful clock tower atop St. Augustine's. We'll learn a brief history of both St. Augustine's as well as St. George's and their roles in the development of the Ben Franklin Bridge.

City Hall Visitor Center

Another attraction that we'll view from atop the Ben Franklin Bridge. During this rest stop, we'll learn a brief history of Philadelphia's City Hall.

Tacony-Palmyra Bridge

During this rest stop, we'll learn about the Tacony-Palmyra Bridge (which connects Northeast Philadelphia to Palmyra, NJ) and its relation to the Ben Franklin Bridge.

PSFS Building Historical Marker

As one of the most noticeable buildings when travelling across the Ben Franklin Bridge into Philadelphia, we'll learn about how this building impacted the United States from the time it was a newly founded nation.

Rutgers University–Camden

During this rest stop, we'll learn about one of the nation's oldest universities and how it first became established.
