This tour was super awesome! It was a great way to see Juno on our own… Highly recommend. Somehow the Tour knows where you are on the route and walks you through the entire town.

Really interesting and a great way to explore Juneau and learn some of the history at your own place - and see a few things you probably wouldn’t otherwise. It’s important you follow the instructions when you first buy the tour to download the app and get the right tour ready and saved to your phone, don’t leave it until you want to start the tour. It was easy to do and the instructions were clear - I didn’t have any issues. The tour is well put together and the tech is clever, the narrator gives you directions and then waits until you reach the next waypoint before continuing the story - so you never get behind. Very cost effective for a decent tour

The Walkn tour app does not work. I downloaded the content before the cruise. Could not open the app on the cruise or on land. Wasted my purchase. No need to buy this thing at all, there are plenty of information at the Visitor Center.

The Russian church was great! Downloaded the walk well in advance so no technical problems. The tour took us to places we would otherwise have missed (like that church) and gave a lot of interesting background information. Definitely would recommend it. Also recommend downloading individual copies and using earphones. We did not and the phone’s speakers were often drowned out by the street noise, especially in the first part of the tour.

Not notifed (via email) until Aug. 29th that I needed to download app. Was not able to pick up this email until the Cruise ship ported in Juneau. It took 48 minutes for the app to download. Note: my travel buddy could not get the app to download on their IPhone, so they were not able to use the app. This was a lot of wasted time. We started the walking tour and within 30 minutes decided that we would be better off just visiting the city not using my phone. We had to have it on speaker due to the above issue. Also we found the narration and the locations being directed to, to be boaring. Suggested fixes:
1: Download email sent a week before date of tour
2: Not sure if Juneau really has enough historical buildings / sites to make this app relevant.

Some backtracking, confusing directions, not interesting facts. For instance, Hearing that this brewery opened 50 years after Prohibition ended, was not interesting.

You definitely need to download BEFORE!!

App was terrible to get on board with, I never heard the guided tour, but I paid for it! ( I think?) took my credit card info. Not user friendly to understand how to get your going. Never happened, we just walked around on our own.

This was an excellent app and a great way to get a feel for Juneau. It was easy to use, and recommend downloading it while on WiFi at your hotel or before you leave to go walking. It was informative, well narrated and excellent way to see the sights on foot. Highly recommend!

Once we past the instructions and ready to download the tour, the app did not allow us to start it. 10 different users and none was able to listen a thing. . .
I would definitely requests my money back
