It’s a big day in terms of travel time. Better to do it on a tour than self drive. However the beauty of Leliyn (Edith Falls) and Nitmiluk National Park are a must see.

Highly recommended this tour. I is a very long day but well worth it. Guides were great but just could have been a little more informative.

Hi-there-all

Katherine Gorge Tour was excellent on our 2 Gorge tour. Although at the end of the wet season water was muddy but that is this time of year.

Awesome day, our guide was knowledgeble and the day ran smoothly. The Gorge was magnificent and to see the aboriginal artwork was amazing. We were able to swim in a little area just off the gorge which was perfect way to end the day.

This was a great day, very long - but this we were aware of and prepared for. The bus was comfortable and air conditioned. Plenty of opportunities to stretch the legs along the way. Unfortunately we were unable to swim due to crocs, but still enjoyed the day as a whole. Our guide Danny, was exceptional. She really knows her stuff and we got so much out of it due to her local knowledge and commentary. I was really impressed that although tour numbers were below minimum, Autopia honoured to the trip and sent along 4 guides in training. Edith falls was underwhelming, however the Katherine Gorge cruise made up for it in spades with its spectacular scenery. Had a wonderful day!

We had an awesome day out with Dani as our guide. She was really knowledgeable and made sure we still had a great time, despite the weather changing some of our plans. We would recommend this tour with Autopia to anyone visiting Darwin!

This tour was definitely worth doing but do keep on mind that it is a very long day on a not-so-comfortable and bumpy bus. There were many stops along the way, like the giant termite mound, to break up the trip a bit. The boat ride in the gorge and walks there were amazing.

Great tour. Highlight of the day was the power boat cruise in Katherine Gorge. (Nitmiluk) We were lucky that the water levels were high for such a ride. If I'm not mistaken this takes place only about ten times a year. Edith Falls was also a beautiful sight. A special mention to our guide Becs. Such a bubbly cheerful person. Made this trip so enjoyable. And a great driver too.

Excellent day! Becks (driver / tour guide) was utterly fantastic and really invested in giving us the best day possible. There is a lot of driving but she made sure we were comfortable and entertained with facts, anecdotes and music. The natural beauty of the places we visited was astounding. Highly recommend.

A fabulous tour that i especially recommend to solo travellers to meet like minded people. The sites were amazing and Becs our tour guide was loads of fun, very knowledgeable and very accommodating. Just book, you won’t regret it. This is what seeing the NT is all about.
