I can't express enough how much my friends and I loved this tour. Francesco is amazing. He is so so passionate and knowledgeable about marine life and the history of Roca. He has a phD in marine biology, and it's very obvious! He's actually found different species in the caves around Roca which is super cool!
Aside from his knowledge, the trip itself if so much fun. He took us to a bunch of local and hidden places you wouldn't know about as a tourist. We went into many caves and alcoves. We got out and swam as well. We weren't able to snorkel because the water was pretty wild that day causing sand to decrease visibility, but we weren't upset at all because we had so much anyways!! We stopped for "sushi" aka a clam. Some of us tried it, and it was actually really good. Just needed some lemon haha!
I can't give this tour enough praise. Definitely worth the money!

20 min after the reserved time WE called Naturalmente Salento and they told us the tour will not be organized due to a "system" failure.
We had the impression the guy was not really worried about that ... so we guess there were no customers enough so they decided not to do it, and invent an excuse.

Extremely poor customer service - they did not show up for our kayak trip and did not answer their emails/phone/Whatsapp messages/Instagram messages.
The only response we got from them was 10 days after the date of the kayaking trip saying that they cancelled it for bad weather. Surely, you would answer one of your many forms of communication to tell your paying customers that they kayak trip isn't happening today rather than let them drive for an hour and wait around for an hour for nobody to show up!
To make things worse, they have not provided a refund and they are ignoring all of my messages. Avoid at all costs!!
I'm sure they will send their generic response that they always doe about us not understanding the weather or that we were in the wrong place. This is complete rubbish and they are just making excuses for being a poorly run company with terrible customer service. Just look at the amount of reviews, complaining about no shows!

Postponed several times due to "bad weather". Especially in the morning the wind is quite okay with rougher moments from the second half of the afternoon. Still don't know exactly why this activity has been postponed several times. One time the activity has been cancelled an hour before starting.

We will leave with our canoes and our kayaks paddling from Roca Vecchia between hidden coves and sea caves, where in ancient times the pirates of the Mediterranean crossed these waters and took refuge in these natural ravines such as the Grotta dello Zingaro. We will explore the inside of the archaeological area and the ancient port by sea. We will reach the Grotta della Poesia by kayak, in this magical place we will snorkel while exploring the natural tunnels dug into the rock and the cave that houses the famous Messapian place of worship; we will explore the natural pool inside the cave and we will dive for the traditional propitiatory rite of good passage to fully experience this exciting stop in one of the most beautiful places on the Adriatic Coast.
