    This was such a great experience! When we first arrived, we saw the chaos at the bottom of the beach with a few other different operators. But because we booked this one with Secret Algarve, it was away from the hustle & bustle for the start. Everything was explained perfectly & away from the chaos of so many other people around you, meaning you take it all in outside their office area. The staff were all very welcoming & friendly! Especially our tour guide Marco, we had so much fun with him! He made sure our group was always comfortable and we went at a very comfortable pace. Once you’re out of the start and away with your tour group it’s a very enjoyable tour! Would definitely recommend this !!😊

    An amazing experience but also not what we had envisioned. Our guide was knowledgeable and patient. We had very young kids with us so were basically paddling single kayaks in fairly rough waves and wind. Wouldn’t recommend for those who have never really kayaked before. And there were so so so many other kayak groups and small and large boats going about the caves. It was very chaotic and the amount of other people and boats somehow took away from The experience of getting to ocean kayak this magical coastline. Also a big bummer we couldn’t get out of the kayaks on the beach of the Benagil cave. Our guide explained that rules had recently changed because of so many people visiting the cave. Overall, would do this experience again but probably at a different time of day for possible smaller crowds (we went at 11a). Our guide suggested that the early morning times or anytime after 4p are usually the best options.

    Dissapointing. We couldn’t even go into the Benagil cave due to new regulations (apparently enforced that very day) and huge traffic jams of kayaks in front of the cave entrance. Felt overcrowded and unorganized. At the end of the trip our guide did not look after the whole group good enough in my opinion, but luckily we all found our way back to the shore where it was also messy and unorganized to get on the shore quick and smoothly.

    A very worthwhile tour. While it was very busy in the area, our tour felt private and we skipped through the lines and crowds. Being on the kayaks was a great way to access the caves and explore. Our tour guide was excellent too.

    Amazing experience! We took an early tour in the morning, as it can get quite crowded later on, which proved to be the perfect choice. We were a small group with a few kayaks, and our guide Nahuel did a wonderful job guiding us and explaining the history and details of the caves we visited. Overall would recommend, just make sure you bring a lot of sunscreen :)
