The tour commences at a typical Kreuzberg location, namely at the Kottbusser Tor. In the Dresdner Straße, you will see the site of the offices of a Minister of Parliament, Mr. Ströbele, of the Green Party (Bündnis 90/Die Grünen). He is well known in Kreuzberg and doesn’t shun mingling in public on his bicycle.

We will stroll over the Oranienplatz, established by the famous landscape and gardening Architect Peter Joseph Lenné whose great work can see throughout Berlin. You will follow the course of the former Luisenstädtischer Channel. Find out more about the history and fate of this channel. You will then follow the path of the old East Berlin Wall in Kreuzberg. You will visit the Engelbecken, the first Children’s Farm "Mauerplatz," the Georg von Rauch-House one of the most famous squats in Berlin, all the way to the „Treehouse“ of the most famous inhabitant of the East Berlin Wall, Mr. Osman Kalin.
