    We effectively had a private tour as it was only me and my wife in the tour group. Our guide, Emmanuele, was excellent. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. We spent about an hour in Como city centre (including walking around Villa Olmo's gardens) and then went up to Brunate via the funicular. Emmanuele brought us around Brunate and knew where the best spots to take photos were located (some of them not usually known by tourists). The 3-hour tour flew by and we ended the tour with lunch in Brunate at a restaurant recommended by Emmanuele. A highly recommended tour, which is good value for money.

    Wow views are amazing so worthy doing this lovely funicular ride up the mountain to brunate - views weee amazing !! Lovely little old time to explore as well different feel to como Highly recommend

    A lovely view of Como awaits you at the top. Plenty of places to stop and pass the time of day with a drink or meal. The lighthouse is a steep walk on, but electric bikes or the jeep ride are worth the investment. The queue is quite long so arrive early on a hot day.

    The walking tour with Leonardo was exceptional! He was extremely knowledgeable and interesting to listen to. We especially like the walk to the funicular and the amazing views.

    The heat was brutal and the line was long. It’s peak season for tourists, but that doesn’t deter people from going. There are no fans or ac in the car, but the top view is lovely. You can pay for a roundtrip ticket. Kids enjoyed the ride and at the top we were able to enjoy the shaded trees and small shops. It was peaceful

    Enjoy a full day tour discovering Italy’s silk capital, Como. Our favourite guide will disclose the history of the landmarks of the main town of the lake, where major silk producers built their factories and famous inventor Alessandro Volta was born. After strolling through the historic centre among ancient buildings and local workshops, we will head to the majestic Villa Olmo.
