Roland is extremely knowledgeable and gives continuous information in multiple languages. We had a very good day despite the weather. Highlights were the green caves, mirador del rio and surprisingly the cactus gardens! The worst part was lunch. I understand why large coach trips have a buffet style lunch for convenience. But it was extremely expensive at €15 per person and the quality was not great at all. If there is no other option we feel this should have been included in with the price of the trip at a much lower cost.

Enjoyed trip and all of the places we visited. Bus and driver and guide were very good. Only thing I would change would be the lunch venue as there were much better food options to have at the tour stops.

Locations amazing. However found some stops to long hence making the day very long. Would have preferred just English speaking trip as four interpretations everytime was intense. Also needed to say that there would be a specific stop for lunch and what it intaled. The lunch stop should have been explained at beginning of trip as courier invited everyone to purchase drink/food at every stop.

Great trip with a well informed guide…Easy access to the various sites and Lunch wasn’t bad either. Highly recommended..

Roland was our guide and he was very good. We learned lots about the island and saw some beautiful places. Everything ran on time and we felt there was the perfect amount of time spent at each stop.

The tour was a full and packed day - we saw most of the 'must see' Cesar Manrique sights, which were all inspiring in different ways. The sights more than made up for the shortcomings of the organisation. The transfers were poorly organised and we had to wait around in the hot sun for 30 minutes as the driver had dropped us off at the wrong place. The biggest let-down was the disgusting lunch which was buffet style slop with bony, chicken full of gristle and unappealing and unappetising meatballs, salad and paella with the same bony chicken. So we paid €10 per head for a glass of mineral water and a tiny tub of ice cream! Definitely pack your own lunch, but do book this tour!

Excellent day out, though I would have liked a bit longer at Cesar Manrique's house. Michael the tour guide was very informative and l felt very safe with Tony driving.

We booked this tour as it covered the Cesar Manrique sites we wanted to visit. Hotel pickup was on time and after checking in with our guide Roland we were quickly on our way. Roland turned out to be a knowledgable guide who gave us lots of information about the places we visited but also more general things about Lanzarote. His commentary was delivered in a lighthearted way that made it easy to listen. On our tour there were some Spanish speakers as well as English but Roland was able to slip easily from one language to the next without us having to wait very long for the next English instalment. We visited the statue to the farmers (monuments compestino) and Roland led us to an underground part of the attached restaurant which went below the lava field. We never would have found it on our own! We also visited Jameous Del Agua or the green caves, we could choose, Mirador del Rio and finally the Cactus Garden. We stopped off at a restaurant for lunch, it was €10 extra for a buffet lunch which included roast chicken, vegetables, salad, potatoes and chips as well as a rice dish, red wine and water included. The red wine was not the best, just ok., but there was plenty of food. You didn’t have to have the buffet but we thought it was good value. The coach was comfortable and clean. Drop off was back at the hotel after about 8 hours. All in all we thought it was a great day out and we were very lucky with the weather. One thing to consider. There are lots of steps to negotiate and the ground is uneven in places and can be slippery if wet (Roland was very good at always telling us when to watch our step). If you have any mobility issues this may not be the tour for you.

Roland the guide was fluent in so many languages. He was organised and helpful. He explained lots of facts and how long we would have at each site. The tour was a full day and very interesting. We were in Playa Blanca so had to transfer to a larger coach after 45 minutes so after the tour we had to transfer again and we were the last to be dropped off despite passing the end of our hotel road twice which was tiring. Our lunch venue was chosen by the tour agency the scenery was spectacular , water and wine provided was good but buffet food and ambience disappointing. Feel a village where you could choose your restaurant would be better.Meal was 10 euros, coach loads of people and frenetic and felt like we were treated like cattle. The paella looked nice but scrappy chicken and watery vegetables more like school dinners than Spanish cuisine. This tour was great got to see nearly all the island .Coach was comfy. Would recommend but bring a picnic or grab a quick snack at the other venues !

Wonderful day with great sites. You cover so much ground and see some truly beautiful locations. Felt like it was a perfect amount of time dedicated to sites and wonderful helpful guidance throughout the trip. Also, the bus was quite comfortable.
