    We took this private tour on our first evening in Bologna so that we could take a deep dive into the local cuisine. Paolo was the perfect guide. He has curated an extremely well-rounded experience that truly showcases what this region offers - meats, cheeses, balsamic vinegar, pasta, pastry, and wines. Paolo is extremely knowledgable and incredibly passionate about his city and its amazing food. I highly recommend this experience.

    The tour was excellent, taste food I will have never try by myself. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave us excellent alternatives. Will recommend this tour to everyone .

    What a treat to experience Bologna for the very first time with Marco! He took us to his very favorite gelato shops- of course we had to go by for seconds! We also had an amazing balsamic tasting- who would have thought balsamic can be sweet, savory and thick! Of course we can’t wait to try some back home. He sprinkled information about the region, its history and culture too- 10/10!

    It was a big disappointment and an unfortunate experience for me. The tour guide changed the venue of the tour to Piazza de Neptuno when he learned that I’m taking the train. It was supposedly to have a closer meeting place from the train. So I missed out on the original venue. The 6 tastings were more of “samples” from tourist shops and a cup of pasta from a restaurant where we couldn’t even sit in. I’m just trying to forget how much I paid for it. I decided to eat somewhere nice after the “tasting tour” to not waste my trip to Bologna. The experience was the polar opposite of what I had with another company in Florence.
