A perfect day outside if the cities of France to the romantic countryside. A full day of various experiences with a knowledgeable tour guide was worth every penny and was a great value for the money. Take the stress out of planning vacation itineraries and relax a little on this tour. Would highly recommend!

A special thanks to our superb guide, Arnod, for a most enjoyable full day tour. Arnod is very knowledgeable about the region, its people and culture. He is able to convey a vaste array of information in a clear, articulate manner during the course of conversations. He knows many hidden secrets and goes out if his way to assist and attend to the small group, getting to know them better along the way! Arnod is a great guide and comes highly recommended - 5 stars!

Excellent guide: Francois. The afternoon was better than the morning as we saw more sites. Overall, a good tour. I would recommend this to see the outlying villages in the Avignon vicinity.

I had a wonderful experience with Viator and my tour guide Francois. Viator was flexible and changed my tour to the day after when I got stuck in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence due to a public holiday and lack of buses to Avignon. The wine tour was great and very educational (as well as delicious of course) and the second half of the tour to small villages across Provence was perfect to see more of the area without a car. I highly recommend this tour as a solo traveller without a car. Thankyou to Francois for a wonderful and educational tour and a great day overall.

We loved the afternoon part. Great service. In the morning you do some wine tasti g and get a course how to taste wine. This was less interesting. Then you get back to Avignon to have a break in which you can habe lunch (not included). In afternoon beautiful tour of villages with nice photo opportunities. Great service!

Joce was an amazing guide! He was very competent, accommodating and made our experience truly memorable. We booked another tour with him which was equally outstanding Antonia and Paul

The tour has surpassed our expectations. The guide was attentive and professional. Wine tasting felt special and personal. The pace of the tour was relaxed and leisurely, with plenty of time to explore some of the most beautiful French villages. And beautiful they are! Breathtaking.

Our guide Remmy was spectacular and highly recommended. However, we thought this was an all day tour. Instead, after wine tasting we headed back to Avignon to drop off passengers and pick up new passengers. This left us little time to find lunch and was overall misleading. Had we known the tour was being broken into two half day tours with a return to Avignon in the middle we would not have signed up.

Overall this trip was disappointing and was not at informative. There was an unnecessary 45 minute lunch stop in Avignon ( the guide did not tell us that we would be returning to Avignon after the morning trip) after the wine tasting in the morning which took time away from the afternooon trip. Also there was no information given on the itinerary for the afternoon, background or enough history on the village of Gordes or its cathedral. The last stop in Menerbes would have been a perfect stop for a drink in the lovely bistro with an amazing view out over the Provençal countryside at the end of the day but felt rushed and was used instead as the briefest of photo stops. We also stopped at two commercial places at the beginning of the afternoon which none of the group was interested in. The trip would benefit from having the wine tasting in the afternoon and Luberon in the morning during the month of August as makes more sense to be out of the baking heat in the afternoon!
