LEGOLAND Discovery Center

Located inside the shops at Riverwalk in historic San Antonio, LEGOLAND Discovery Center offers a world of fun for children ages 3-10. With this admission ticket, you'll have access to plenty of entertaining attractions to keep the whole family busy for a day of LEGO-building fun. A typical visit usually lasts two to three hours, but you can stay as long as you like. Perhaps start with a visit to the LEGO Factory, where Professor Brick-a-Brack shares how LEGO bricks get their shapes and colors. Make your way to Miniland, and watch as night falls and the lights come up over buildings, airships and trains made of nearly 1.5 million LEGOs. Or see if you can spot the mischievous minifigures hiding in Miniland! Construct a LEGO building at the Earthquake Tables, and then watch as plates move to test the strength of each tower. At LEGO Racers, there are thousands of bricks to build and test your own race car, and at the farmyard-inspired DUPLO Village, younger kids can play with large soft bricks. Amp up the adventure aboard a mighty chariot on the Kingdom Quest Laser Ride, using mounted laser guns to zap trolls and spiders as they appear around each corner. Or, become a top wizarding student by pedaling a bike as fast as you can to help create a magic potion on Merlin’s Apprentice Ride. Perhaps build your own microphone and perform on a karaoke stage with LEGO Friends, or use your imagination to create a mural at the LEGO Art Gallery. LEGO Fire Academy and LEGO Construction Site play zones provide more fun. Kids can also learn building tips and tricks by attending a class at the Master Builder Academy, where instructors take them through a Minibuild (additional fee). When the family is ready for a break, see special effects at the 4D Cinema where 15-minute movies play throughout the day. Or head to the cafe for sandwiches and snacks (own expense), and stop by the gift shop on your way out for that perfect LEGO set. Please note: LEGOLAND Discovery Center is a children's attraction; to promote a safe and family-friendly environment, adults cannot enter without being accompanied by a child.

It was fun. One ride was broke. Super crowded. The 4d video was fun and the VR was fun . It was neat to look at lego san antonio the skill behind those builds.. My kids had a good time long wait lines n just to many people to be able to fully enjoy the whole place. It is fun but not worth the cost in my opinion.

Totally fun time at Lego Discovery Center today. We bought tickets ahead of time online. We were able to book a time of our liking and arrived with plenty of time to enjoy the space and all the Legos we wanted. It's not The first attraction is a ride, where you have to shoot your way through to find and save a baby dragon. Then you will head through Lego Master Kevin's 1.5million piece rendition of the city. It is a really amazing likeness of your favorite Downtown location. We also opted for the $8 activity book, which gives the Discovery Center rooms a purpose. The kids can complete tasks and stamp their progress. If you get hungry there's an in house cafe that serves sandwiches and Starbucks. There is another ride called Merlin's Adventure, teo playgrounds (one for little kids and and one for little kids). Every other hour there's a Lego Expert led Creative Workshop. Violet was super patient with my kiddos. They would regularly ask her about the Legos around the Discovery Center. She was awesome and taught us names for the weird shapes like BURP and SNOT. The one thing we missed was the 4D Lego Experience, but the kids were stoked about coming back...so, for next time. It was a fun time for Lego builders if all ages. We would go again.

We came here for my 8 year olds birthday from out of town. We go at least twice a year but this was out first time to go in December. Also, the first time there was no school field trip. It was still pretty crowded. The staff look a little unenthused. But, a BIG thank you to the manager. I had told one of the employees up front my kids really wanted to see the Lego Santa but my oldest son has Celiacs Disease and both boys Peanut allergies. So going into a party room was just not possible. I found the manager on the floor working and explained our situation and He so kindly accommodated us by letting my boys meet Santa and take pictures separate from the cookie area/room. It was sooo nice of him to do that and my boys having stopped talking about meeting THE LEGO SANTA!! Thank you for s memorable adventure!

A picture is worth 1000 words. I wish I had seen pictures like the ones I took before we went. I'm really not too hard to please but this was a bit ridiculous in my opinion. We visited this Lego land location back in September. I was shocked by how dirty it was. We were there on a Tuesday afternoon, definitely not a busy time. It has clearly been in serious need of cleaning for a while. The San Antonio "mini land" was super cute. It was really dirty too but that didn't bother me as much as seeing the filth where my children were actually playing. The building tables were caked with grime, the climbing structure had piles of who knows what under and around them and there were drifts of hair and dust around some of the statues. If no one is cleaning up the obvious stuff like this, I can't help but feel like none of the touch surfaces are being sanitized either. I will say that I reached out to the customer service and they were quick to respond. They said it would be addressed. The staff was all very friendly. They got an extra star for those reasons. I did not go into the cafe or on either ride. I don't know if they were clean or not. Ultimately, my kids thought it was great. I was so grossed out that it was difficult to enjoy.

Poor all around ! Expensive for large family not much to do 'Card Only No Cash" 🙄! No Cash Anywhere not even at gift shop makes no sense other than a way to scam and get your information! My kids saved there money all year just to spend it at Lego Discovery Center San Antonio and they couldn't due to no cash policy! They don't actually sell any tickets at the ticket desk I'm not real sure what they do there you have to buy tickets online! Don't ask attendant for help about tickets no clue none zero no help ! Military you have to buy tickets at ID Me to get discount! Place had standing water on floor at Lego tables everything felt dirty! Bathroom smelled horrible The only plus was aquarium nice clean! But over all "Hard Pass on Lego Discovery Center San Antonio Texas! Save your Cash for a family activity that appreciates your business!

We drove 5 hours to go to Legoland. We mentioned it to several employees hoping they would help us have a better time but alas that was not the outcome. It was a slow day without many customers yet we were ignored by the staff. The guy who led the building room was nice and helpful but everyone else was sort of annoyed we were there. I really wish we had had a better experience.

Absolutely nothing at Legoland. Nothing like other Legolands. Has two small kiddie rides, a slide for racing cars, several bins with blocks and a video that runs every 30 minutes. Ugh!!

It was great. Plenty to do for kids and adults. Lots of legos a few rides and a movie. It was really awesome except for the pee pee smell every where

We bought a ticket for 10:15 but arrived and a field trip of 100+ kids was just arriving. The front desk told us we could come back after lunch which was nice. It was not too crowded when we came back. My kids (7 and 12) enjoyed all of it. We did the VR and the master builder course/demo which was cute and fun. They loved the little rides, too. It was nice to be able to sit in the AC for a bit and let the kids play in the different areas. My 12 yo still enjoys these types of things but older kids/teens may be bored.

We had a great experience here with a 6 and 10 year old. We purchased the VR experience as well. They stayed busy & loved it.
