The download link for the walking tour was inactive. My credit card was charged, but I never received the download so I never took this tour. Interesting that the operator will not give me a refund.

I had trouble downloading the audio tour so left it until I was on the ship and connected to the ship wifi. Two IT crew members tried for an hour and a half to no avail - so not being able to download the audio meant there was no map, no itinerary, no tour. Not refundable either “for any reason” So no tour. I would rate this a zero if I could! Reading other reviews I see I am not the only person with this complaint - so choose different excursion!

The tour may be fine but do not buy through tripadvisor or viatour. I bought a ticket through this website and followed the instructions on the ticket. The tour does not show up on the app. I am now waiting for help. Hopefully I will get a useful response shortly. Wish I had made the purchase through the app.

We went to the post office as directed in our brochure and NO ONE at the post office knew what we were talking about! They suggested we go to the tourist office where again, NO ONE knew anything about a Walking Tour. The male agent tried using the instructions in our brochure but he couldn't get the program to download either. We tried again ourselves but nothing worked. I would suggest delivering the audio in a different way that is more user friendly. I would suggest removing anything about going to the post office from any instructions. I would suggest the instructions be written by non-IT personal so the average tourist can understand and use them. I would suggest providing technical support by phone when known audio tours are sold.

Our ship could not dock due to weather so we missed the audio tour. This is the only excursion that did not refund money . It would be nice to include an excursion that offered this. Thanks.

In low lying areas and while walking, the app was dropped multiple times. It was best to stand still for reception in such areas - frustrating. Perhaps the fault lies with Vodaphone cellular coverage in Lerwick specifically?

We downloaded the guided tour on two smartphones. One was fine, the other kept kicking us off and starting over. We actually did better just following the map given to us by the local greeters.

The audio tour started out fine but after the first 4 points, the audio tour didn't jive with where we were on the walking tour. That said, the first points were full of good information about the town and a good value. Other audio tours I have used however are gps connected and will guide you where to go and if you are in the wrong direction. This tour does not do so.
