What to expect
Musee Rodin
Walk in the memory of Auguste Rodin at the Hôtel Biron where he used as his workshop and resided in Villa des Brillants from 1908. See how Rodin curated an acclaimed collection of paintings by Vincent van Gogh, Claude Monet, and Pierre-Auguste Renoir. He donated these to the French State on the proviso they turned the buildings into museums that housed and celebrated his work. Stroll around while your guide explains the display of his many sculptures in the museum's extensive gardens and marvel. See the works-in-progress that demonstrate the creative practices throughout the museum.
Musee d'Orsay
Continue inside the narrow streets close to prestigious landmarks such as Hotel Matignon and the Yves Saint-Laurent Head Office before you meander through Musée d'Orsay. Your guide will explain how a Beaux-Arts train station became one of the worlds most recognised museums and houses important works from painters such as Van Gogh, Monet, and Paul Cézanne. Wonder throughout primarily French collections which include paintings, sculptures, furniture, and photographs that date between 1848 and 1914. You'll see some of the finest Impressionist and post-Impressionist masterpieces in the world by artists including Renoir, Manet, Sisley, Gauguin, and Seurat.
The experience can be subject to change due to bad weather or unforseen circumstances. We always endeavour to give you the best possible experience.
