We took a private cooking class with Giuditta on our honeymoon this September, and it was everything we hoped for - and MORE!! Giuditta could not have been a more welcoming, knowledgeable, and fun instructor! She didn’t hold back on any of “grandma’s cooking secrets” or techniques that we could bring back home to our own kitchen. We started with a welcome espresso, then got to work on our own Ragu Bolognese with fresh pasta, a guinea fowl entree, and a bruschetta appetizer and green salad. We had a lovely bottle of Prosecco to enjoy with the starters, and an excellent red wine with dinner. We dined outside with a beautiful view of the Tuscan hills at sunset. After dessert Giuditta even joined us for an amaro and was so lovely to sit and chat with, giving us all sorts of tips for the rest of our trip in Italy (we LOVED Trastevere in Rome thx to her!). We could not recommend this cooking class more. Don’t hesitate, book with Giuditta and you won’t be disappointed! The food was all DELICIOUS as well.

Our chef Guiditta was warm and knowledgeable, walking us through how to make homemade pasta, a meat lasagna and a pesto vegetable lasagna, pasta pomodoro and tiramisu. The class was such fun and the food was delicious!

Guiditha was amazing! Our family enjoyed this class immensely. She did a fabulous job teaching us her tricks of the trade and the food was most delicious. While the Villa seems a little run down, but kitchen in which you cook in and the experience is one to remember. Both of our kids have said this was the best day of our trip.

Truly enjoyed the cooking class and our chef! I would give her a 5 out of 5 however, the location - a tuscan villa among the Chianti Vineyards was very misleading. The villa was hidden in the trees, crumbling down around us and we were only allowed in the kitchen and to see two rooms. Although we enjoyed a couple of glasses of wine at the end, I was under the impression it would be more of a wine tasting as we cooked. This was my mistake. We still enjoyed the food and fun of making it!

The cooking class was absolutely worth it, we really enjoyed the class, instructor, classmates and of course eating our homework. Our instructor did a wonderful job of engaging with the students, teaching some interesting techniques, and hosting our dinner. The only downside was the facility. Class was in an ancient villa, through sort of a side door to a marginally clean kitchen area. Part of the place is rented to families that roamed around, and another part isoccupied by the owner who wandered out when we arrived. He had a holey tee-shirt and worn out pants, and could've used a shower. Really nice guy once we talked to him, but not the ideal intro to a cooking class. Would HIGHLY recommend finding a better facility, because the class itself and the instructor were superb!

We had a wonderful time cooking with Juditta! She was very patient with us, even though we were beginners, and shared a lot of useful "grandma" secrets. The place was very charming and Juditta was an excellent host / instructor.

This was the highlight of our Chianti time! Personalized cooking class, well organized and fun. We made pasta, several dishes and dessert. Friendly, experienced chef! Highly recommend this!

This experience was even better than expected. The drive to the villa was beautiful on scenic roads (we drove ourselves in a rental car). The villa itself was impressive. It was great having a private lesson for just me and my boyfriend. Our chef Giuditta was outstanding and our finished meal was A+

Great place to experience Tuscany cooking, the villa was a special treat. Our chef was excellent and we will definitely use what we learned.

December is low season so it was just the tour guide, my friend and I. It made for a perfect tour. We saw all the main streets of Lucca, ate some fantastic food and relaxed at the end for some wine and cheese. The tour guide was very accommodating for my vegetarian needs.
