    Very interesting tour through some off-the beaten track places around Lisbon. Our guide gave us a fascinating running commentary on the pieces of art that we were looking at but also the background about the writers/ graffiti artists /urban artists involved. She passionately described how these works link to the communities in which they are made. Some of these murales are real masterpieces. We enjoyed the tour immensely. Our only suggestion would be to add a short pause for a coffee in the middle in one of those neighbourhood bars that we passed by, especially for the slightly less young amongst us. Great tour.

    Diego ( I'm sorry I don't know the Portuguese version of his name) was the perfect guide. He is an expert on street art, knows a lot of artists and spoke passionately about all the brilliant works of art. Street art in Lisbon is worth a visit with him.

    Great tour. Amazing guides. Wear comfy shoes!! Nothing was rushed and a lot of information was provided about each piece. Would recommend this tour to anyone

    This tour completely exceeded our expectations. We met with our guide very easily at the meeting point, and was walked and speed talked through street art master pieces, the history, the culture, their meaning and a load of other information. All very personally presented with great humour and love, and we were really welcomed and involved in his story and anecdotes. We got a very warm and personal introduction to Portuguese history, culture, daily joys and challenges, and not just Street Art - and that understanding is important to get the most out of seeing and understanding the art on the walls of Lisbon. Walking the small streets of Alfama and surroundings with our guide and his dog Billy was without question one of the biggest highlights of our 5-day stay in Lisbon. We can only recommend this tour to anyone interested in art, sub-culture, and the chance of getting a bit under the skin of the local living.

    Meet us at the CALÇADA DA GLORIA [at the top of the open air art gallery | close to miradouro - viewpoint - São Pedro de Alcântara | in between metro Restauradores and Baixa-Chiado]

    Meet us in the middle of Rua Natalia Correia in the neighbourhood of Graça | in front of the street art piece by OBEY. The point is recognizable for the outdoor gym-equipment. Use the full address and/or the Obey piece as a reference to reach the correct point.

    Santa Justa Lift

    Meet us in the middle of Rua do Carmo (the street full of shops - in front of the MUJI shop), at the corner with Rua Santa Justa, on top of the stairs next to the elevator where you will encounter a 3D street art piece by BORDALO II.

    Escadinhas de Sao Cristovao

    The streets are an open-air museum. In this particular hood of Mouraria we will explore the roots of fado, born in one of the most authentic neighbourhoods of Lisbon. But also the locals, the characteristics of the hood represented on the walls through art and photography.

    Definitely one of the best street [art] views in town ! Climbing up on the hill to one of the most wonderful neighbourhoods of Libson isn't easy but we promise it is worthwhile !

    Graça is a lovely authentic hood with lots of big murals. From very local to very international street artists covering the façades of this highest neighbourhood. We will also pass by our own Walls of Fame... !
