Start your self audio-guided tour in front of the Belém Tower. It was classified as a World Heritage Site in 1983 by UNESCO. Belém Tower was first built to defend Lisbon. Years later, it was transformed into a lighthouse and later still a customs center.

Centro Cultural de Belém
