What to expect
MAAT - Museu de Arte, Arquitetura e Tecnologia
The iconic red-brick structure by the river. We pass right by it.
Padrao dos Descobrimentos
The famous statue in honor of Portuguese sailors. We usually slow down at this location - the Belém monuments were built to me seen from the river, and we take this very seriously!
MAAT - Museu de Arte, Arquitetura e Tecnologia
The ultra modern museum; the building itself a piece of art. The MAAT is a wavy structure that agrees with the river ondulation. You'll snap the perfect picture of it from the river.
Torre de Belem
The famous tower, a monument to Portuguese maritime discoveries. This is where we typically turn back upstream, not before taking a minute to look at it and photograph it properly.
Ponte 25 de Abril
Crossing under the bridge, an unforgettable experience. The metal rails on the pavement allows us to watch the cars from beneath. Also, we can take a close look at the bridge and its pillars.
Praca do Comercio (Terreiro do Paco)
The breathtaking plaza, the city's heart. From here we can see the Rua Augusta Arch and Portugal's main ministeries' hearquarters. It is a marvel at sunset, with Lisbon's lights reflecting on the façades.
Cais do Sodre Train Station
The hustle and bustle of the city center. From here people commute everyday; by bus, train or tram. Also some of the most hip restaurants in town are around here.
Santuario Nacional de Cristo Rei
The super-famous Christ statue, embracing the city. It is the perfect time to take a picture of it, specially at dusk, when the city lights come out.
The experience can be subject to change due to bad weather or unforseen circumstances. We always endeavour to give you the best possible experience.
