What to expect
Apart from all the sights and landmarks, our trip is about escaping the city and connecting with the river and the experience of being on the water and having a greater perspective of Lisbon. We will be navigating most of the time, going with the flow, with some time to stop in front of the most famous landmarks and to be surprised by anything that comes up during our trip. The Sunset at the Tejo River is our final moment, regardless of the conditions, it is always a beautiful and special way to finish the trip.
Padrao dos Descobrimentos
We stop here for a brief history of this monument (that was actually designed by our founder's great grandfather) and get as close as it gets for the best views.
Torre de Belem
We will stop in front of the Belém Tower, with a close and privileged (and for us the best) view of this monument. We position the boat so that you get to see the monument from different perspectives and give time for pictures.
Museu da Eletricidade
We pass by this amazing industrial building, now classified as national heritage and one of the most visited museums in the country.
MAAT - Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology
We navigate close to this innovative project and new cultural centre of Lisbon, with a privileged view.
25 de Abril Bridge
We pass under this iconic landmark that connects Lisbon to the Almada district and tell you a little bit about the story behind it's construction. This is one of our favourite spots to stop for a picture with the bridge and the Christ King monument in the background, so you are welcome to ask us for a shot!
Praca do Comercio (Terreiro do Paco)
Our final stop before we cross to the south margin of the Tejo river. This is one of Lisbon’s most important and beautiful squares right next to the riverfront and the first gateway to the city. Here we have time for some pictures and some history, with beautiful views of historical Lisbon, as we can also admire the Lisbon Cathedral, the São Jorge castle and alfama neighbourhood from here.
Cais do Ginjal
The south margins most lively corner where two very popular restaurants now make people from around the world cross the river to enjoy some food and watch the sunset. We have our table set on board at this point, so you have the best table "in the house" at this moment of our trip!
Santuario Nacional de Cristo Rei
Named Cristo Rei (“Christ the King”), this gigantic statue has its arms opening to the city, and the river's viewpoint is the best to capture it's immense beauty on top of lush green hill. We are happy to stop for some pictures if ou wish!
Palenca Fishing Pier
Our boat lets us come close to the fishing communities on the south margin of the river, in Almada. This is one of them, escaping the beaten path, with a special passage under the industrial site next to this fishing community.
The experience can be subject to change due to bad weather or unforseen circumstances. We always endeavour to give you the best possible experience.
