    Really enjoyed this special evening with Teddy! Was definitely one of the highlights of our trip in Lisbon. Teddy showed us some hidden gems which we wouldn't have come across any other way. Only regret is not doing this experience sooner during our Lisbon trip.

    teddy is very social. He puts in a lot of effort to tell the stories of the town, show the locals perspective and also personalizes the tour! highly recommend his tour if you are visiting lisbon.

    It was an incredible experience to get to know Lisbon through Teddy's eyes. I had a great time and got to know the real essence of Lisbon. I loved the food, the people, the culture... Part of my trip was really special because I had Teddy as my guide. If you're someone who prioritizes getting to know the soul of a city, this is the right tour for you.

    What an experience! It was one of those evenings of my solo trip that I will cherished in my heart! Teddy has been so warm, welcoming and caring. I fell in love with the authentic multicultural Lisbon through Teddy's eyes and heart. We visited places I would have not otherwise considered. The street art, the music and the people adding an amazing vibe to it all. I would highly recommend this experience

    This was a highlight on our trip to Portugal. Teddy is a great guide that took us in to the hart of this city’s rich culture and stories. We would have missed the atmosphere we are now in love with. If you want to shy away from the typical tourist things and discover the authentic Lisbon, then this is the tour to take.

    What to expect

    Castelo, Alfama & Mouraria

    We will be setting into an immersive cultural tour of the infamous Mouraria district. You will be exploring its multicultural side, its hidden budlings, and various secrets, and we will enjoy some spectacular street art while climbing up through history and communities. We will end up having a wonderful dinner in an African family restaurant, and may even explore jazz or samba elements through the neighborhoods' live local jam sessions.

    Sao Cristovao

    We will be having a wonderful African dish as one of the oldest restaurants in town. Dona Maria has been running her business for over 45 years. Normally her brother plays live music entertaining guests with African tunes.

    Chapito

    Depending on the night of the week we may be visiting one of the most emblematic alternative bar in Lisbon dating since the early 1990s. The location offers live music ranging from samba to world beats. Chapito is more than a cultural fun venue but also a pupeteer school working closely with the homeless to support their skill enhancement and society integration.

    The tour normally ends at Chapito although if we choose another live music bar it can happen in another location in Mouraria.
