Emily Braden is the winner of New York City's 'Best of the Best' Jazzmobile Vocal Competition and two-time cultural ambassador with the US Embassy’s Arts Envoy Program. Originally from Boise, Idaho, Braden is a Harlem-based vocalist, songwriter and lyricist who effortlessly blends jazz and soul to elevate the tradition and win the hearts of audiences around the world. NYC performances include Birdland Jazz Club, Blue Note Jazz Club (Groove Series), The 55 Bar and Minton’s Playhouse. Her sophomore album Cannon & Sparrow is a celebration of resilience and is slated for release November 2022.

The Pandemusic concert project has brought fantasitic music to New York which has benefited both the audience and the performers. The concept has been put together by Josie Caceres and it has been a stunning successs. Musicians of all types who would not have been able to display their talents due to the pandemic, have been given the opportunity entertain audiences and this in turn worked as a form of advertising for the future. For those who attended these events, it has been a time to socialize with others when isolation was the order of the day. The performances were, are currenlty are, brilliant and the audiences were, and still are, wildly enthusiastic. This idea was, as they say in America, a home run!!!!!

No doubt this is the best jam session in the whole NYC/Brooklyn area. Live music with only the best musicians and an astounding view to Manhattan’s East Side skyline. Bring your friends or your date. You will definitely impress, or just come alone, since the vibe is great and you will socialize easily if you feel like.
