I had a wonderful Music Icons Tour on May 18th 2024, led by former Frankie goes to Hollywood guitarist Brian 'Nasher' Nash. As a musician and 100% Liverpudlian, Brian was able to entertain a party of 12 and tell them very insightful stories about Liverpool and its musical history, which went beyond just The Beatles. Besides that I had the opportunity to meet one of my 80s musical heroes. I highly recommend this tour, as Liverpool and its musical heritage has infintely much to offer, and Nasher is just a very cool and friendly guy :)

It was a wonderful tour. Brian can tell you so much about Liverpool, he has an incredibly diverse range of knowledge, especially on all musical topics. He garnishes this with lots of little anecdotes. Since Liverpool is of course very closely connected to Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Brian can of course give a lot of first-hand information about the history of this band and places in Liverpool that are connected to this great band. We stopped twice for a short break and a drink, always accompanied by great stories, of which Brian really has an endless supply. I gave myself this tour for my birthday and what could be better than spending your birthday on a very interesting tour with a lot of information about musical Liverpool with Brian Nash. The tour was great, every musically interested visitor to Liverpool MUST book this tour. And Brian is just a really great guy.

Absolutely fantastic insight into the 80s music scene in Liverpool. Nasher was a fantastic host with a wealth of knowledge and personal experiences. I would highly recommend this icon tour to anyone that would love to delve deeper into the early music scene and the places frequented by the stars. And the icing on the cake was having a beer or two with the man himself and listening to all his Frankie stories. Keep up the excellent work Nasher, from Paul Hollywood & Lisa the L31 club !

Went on this tour with my wife 2 weeks ago. Excellent tour which included interesting facts of Liverpool bands including Frankie goes to Hollywood etc. Brian was happy to answer questions and sign memorabilia. A genuine fella who is a credit to the city. Hope he continues doing these tours as you can tell he loves the city.

We booked the Liverpool Music Icons Tour with Nasher and it was a top day! We were with a group of 12, we visited some of the lesser known Liverpool music sites and Brian told about them, had amusing anecdotes and showed photo`s. We stopped for a drink and a talk and then had the rest of the tour, which was longer than expected! Brian was happy to have pictures taken and to sign stuff. It was a brilliant day and we highly recommend taking this tour! #britmovietours

My wife bought me the tour as a Xmas present and I have to say she nailed it with this one. Brian arrived smack bang at 11am, greeted our group of 12 with a warm smile and a handshake and we were on our way! The tour is not your usual one and involved a nice gentle walk around our fine city taking in many places relevant to Brian and FGTH and included stops where Brian offered some great anecdotes and stories - he said he’s not a tour guide but Liverpool tourist board need to sign him up! The tour included a stop midway for a drink and a chat - he is a great story teller and nothing is off limits when it comes to questions about FGTH - then we carried on for the remainder ending up in our final destination for another drink and chat. Brian was more than happy to sign any memorabilia - I’m just sorry I never brought my original vinyl copy of Welcome to the Pleasuredome for him to sign. The tour was supposed to be around 2 and a half hours but by the time Brian had to leave it was more like 5 hours! Like another of Liverpool’s great characters, Ken Dodd, he doesn’t know when to stop talking. All in all a great day and experience, would fully recommend and from one Brian to another - Thanks.

No spoilers! A top day out & not your average tour! Nasher's tour as well as being informative was peppered with spontaneous wit & a delivery that conveyed his real passion for the city. You'll see old haunts that the band frequented and hear some colourful stories from back in the day, rounded off with a pint & a natter. Informative as it was entertaining, a top day out with a top fella. Highly recommended.

Had a great time on Saturday doing the Liverpool Music Icons Tour with Nasher. Brian was a brilliant tour guide and host and showed a few historic gems around the city and painted a great picture of FGTH formative years. Also included a pint and a bit of a Q&A. Who wouldn't want a pint with one of the lads? Highly recommended.

Brian was excellent. Felt at ease straight away when meeting him, very welcoming and down to earth.

Our day in the company of Nasher is one none of our small group will ever forget. For many peope, Liverpool's world-renowned musical heritage is associated solely with the legacy of the Beatles, but this fantastic tour made me appreciate the sheer depth and quality of the musical talent that came out of the city in the 80s and 90s. It was fascinating to see with our own eyes the places, pubs and clubs which played a significant part in the development of the music scene in Liverpool in the 80s and 90s, but most exciting of all, almost surreal, was that we were learning all this from someone who was a member of the biggest band of this era, the phenomenally successful Frankie Goes To Hollywood. Nasher is a natural raconteur with an affable, down-to-earth nature which greatly enhanced the experience for me. Nothing was rushed, and I especially loved the interest he showed in us too as individuals. Like me, if you want to do something really special for someone with an interest in the music of this era, this would be just the perfect way to do it.
