We were meant to get a 3hr walking tour but only got 2hrs.. We met other people at our hotel and they seem to have a much better tour with another company We’ve booked another tour with Viator in September to Budapest but having second thoughts

Josephine greeted me in a relaxed fashion and wanted to understand what I wanted to get out of the tour. She absolutely personalized the tour for me and we focused on history and some of the cultures that influenced Valencia’s evolution. We also decided to add in a tour of the Musea Ceramica which is a lot more than a ceramic museum and is a must see (it really speaks to the opulent wealth experienced by some in Valencia’s past. She also noted the Roman Ruins given my interest in history and dropped me there so that I could visit at the conclusion of my tour (also a must see…like visiting Pompeii in an hour). Josephine is one of the absolute best tour guides I’ve ever had and I’ve had many private tours!

Josephine was wonderful! She had a great breadth of knowledge about the city, its history, and current life. We got some great recommendations about places to get some of the typical Valencia food and drinks, along with museums and historical sites, and we were able to stop into some of the lesser known spots. She is warm and friendly, and don’t let her fool you, her English is great!

Our guide, Josephine, provided a thoroughly enjoyable experience for our group. We were a group of 3, 2 of us our first time in Valencia. Our tour meandered thru the old town section but had a comfortable balance of old and new sights. Valencia has some stunning squares and walking wjth Josephine helped us see the old and new thru the eyes of locals. Highlights for me were the market, several cathedrals, a stop for Horchata, and conclude at the gates. I highly recommend this tour especially for an introduction to downtown Valencia, and especially if the tour guide is Josephine!!
