    We did the 7 mile Loch Lomond hiking tour out of Edinburgh with Richie as our guide. He was kind, funny, patient, and very knowledgeable. The views were amazing and the intensity of the tour was perfect for anyone who is reasonably fit. When we return we will definitely look to book a similar tour again. One of the top highlights of our trip!

    Jim was our driver and guide. It’s a pretty easy day, won’t require a lot of effort, however, I wish we could walk a bit more. I’d suggest grabbing our own lunch, the place where we stopped at wasn’t great but to be fair there aren’t that many options around there. I’d recommend grabbing something from the cafe you stop at first for the toilet break - food looks way nicer than at the lunch place.

    Did the Loch Lomond tour, my guides were Jim and Yvonne. They were extremely nice and were very excited to talk about the country and the land. They also showed genuine interest in the people who took the tour and were also willing to explain all the questions we had. After the tour they brought us back and recommended some nice pubs to have dinner😁. Highly recommend it.

    Jim was our guide on the Loch Lomond tour, picked up in Balloch on time in a comfortable mini bus type van drove us to amazing view point’s around Loch Lomond , there was some walking uphill about 40-60 minutes not to strenuous but worth it for the view, we also went to a couple of graveyard’s one about the fairy capital an interesting story told by Jim who is a very knowledgeable and likeable guy, then to rob roys grave and more interesting story’s. Had lunch at an outlet shop with a cafe where we met Hampshire and honey two highland cattle. I would recommend this tour the guides great knowledge and take you to places you would never find on your own

    Jim and were amazing! They were great tour guides. Enjoyed the places we stopped just would have liked a lot less riding in van, a lot more walking/hiking.

    Loch Lomond

    Your wonderful day exploring Loch Lomond & the Trossachs National Park will begin with a trip to the eastern side of Loch Lomond. Here you’ll take in a lovely hike around the waterfront before heading to explore some fantastic views to see where the Highlands meet the Lowlands, and over some of the islands on Loch Lomond, including the national nature reserve of Inchcailloch.

    Kilmahog

    Departing east Loch Lomond, you’ll travel towards the fairy capital of the UK where you’ll hear about it’s legendary minister and his adventures with the fairies. Traveling up the east side of Loch Lomond & the Trossachs National Park you’ll watch in awe as the land transforms in front of you, as you enter the dramatic land of the Trossachs. Meet some of the Scotland’s very own, cute and cuddly, hairy Highland Coos (Cows).

    The Trossachs boasts spectacular scenery with mountainous glens, glorious lochs and a rich culture and heritage. So, it makes sense for you to enjoy all of that as you go for a short hike in the land once roamed by one of Scotland’s most infamous outlaw’s, Rob Roy MacGregor. Was he the bad guy that everyone thinks?
