Playa de La Barceloneta
This beach, constructed for Olympic games, is the most famous and popular in the city. Beautiful view, modern art, live music make this place charming and friendly. Also the area what calls La Barceloneta (small Barcelona) could be interesting. It appeared after Catalonia lost it´s independace and survived in a lot of changes what city had. It was rebellious, dangerous and cool. Now it´s almost calm and touristic.
Gothic Quarter (Barri Gotic)
Small streets of this area are similar to labyrinth. Here you can see Romans buildings, reformation for the Worlds Fair of 1929 year and new modern art. A lot of objects here are full of history and legends. You can fill yourself there like you are traveling to the past.
Raval
The artistic and student area of the city, an area which changed recently from being the most dangerous to the safest area, thanks to a government program. Here we will it some tapas and try a little bit of Sangria.
Parc de la Ciutadella
300 years ago this place was the second part of La Ribera area. But when Catalonia lost it´s independence buildings were broken, people were moved and Spain built here a huge fortress as a symbol of the power. In the end of 19 century it was useless and government of Barcelona decided to make a park here.
Arc de Triomf
It was made as a gate of Barcelona for the World´s Fair in 1888. There is a legend that tower of Eiffel cold be here instead of this construction. Here you can see how sculptors of that period was imagining an ideal life in harmony between all professional workers of the city.
Basilica de la Sagrada Familia
One of the most famous buildings in Barcelona. The cathedral what Gaudi wanted to build for God. It´s construction took more than 100 years and it´s still not finished. Last news from the government of Barcelona was that in 2026 people can see an complete Sagrada Familia. Any way the view is spectacular and the story is touching.

Gates of Barcelona made especially for Olympic Games in 1992 what changed the city and it´s citizens.
