Fernando was a wonderful guide for our tour of Douro Valley. He took us to several planned and unplanned vineyards for tasting, including lunch, and made some extra stops at places he thought we would like (we did!) Fernando knows the area like the back of his hand and we felt safe and comfortable. Don’t hesitate to book a tour with Fernando!

If you want to book a private tour I would 100% definitely recommend Fernando! Sweet man even picked us up at 8:00 am from the airport. Our holiday could start with a cup of coffee and cake. We have seen all the beautiful, secret spots. We even had time to take a boat tour. Satisfied, tired and with a big smile our city trip in Porto had started. Thank you.

The Douro Valley is stunning and left us speechless. Pictures and videos do not do it justice. However, what really made this trip special for us was Fernando. He went above and beyond to make sure this was a day we never forget. He picked the nicest spots to take photos of my husband and me and treated the day like our own personal photo shoot. He took us to a gorgeous family run vineyard for a tasting of 5 wines and olive oil and then we went to see the Mateus palace & gardens. Lunch was at another vineyard with delicious food followed by a tasting. He took us to see the town of Pinhão and finally to Pacheca. Fernando works with you to make sure you have the best experience. This is someone who takes lots of pride in his work, loves his clients, and loves his country. Could not have asked for better guide or day.

I cannot say enough good things about Fernando Almeida, the wine tour of the Duoro Valley was a perfect ending to our trip. He was a wealth of information and was so gracious and kind. The wineries he chose for us were just spectacular.

Portugal is very interesting and charming! The experience of touring the country becomes even better when you have a friendly local guide who is passionate about his country's nature, land, and history. We were really happy to meet Fernando Almeida, who took us to wonderful places and told us about them. We actually did two different days and two different tours with him. Both were really good! One of them included a little mountain schist village, a place off the beaten path, which we really enjoyed. Fernando is not only a tour guide and a driver, he is also a friend and companion. We really enjoyed our personal and more intimate time with him during the lunches. Fernando is super accomodating, helpful, attentive, and simply fun to be around. He would listen to your needs and try to do his best to make you feel welcomed to his wonderful country. Thank you, Fernando, from the whole family for those two unforgettable days of our vacation! Porto is beautiful but the experience of seeing it with a delightful and knowledgeable guide makes it so much better. Fernando is simply amazing. From our initial pickup he became a friend. And the time that my husband and I spent with him was wonderful. Our tour was to Douro Valley. This included many stops for amazing views, culture and history. Our tour included wine tasting, lunch with amazing views and stops along the way. Please give Fernando a call. His tours are set but not set. He will help you decide what to do and see. We had know idea, but I trusted him and I am so very happy that I did. We were not rushed at any point!

We were so lucky in finding Fernando through a Facebook post a few days in advance. Me and some friends were trying to find a last minute, custom tour of the duoro valley and beyond. Fernando did an amazing job in delivering exactly what we were looking for! He listened to us and came up with the perfect custom tour for me and my friends. He was so knowledgeable in the process of wine production and the towns he took us to. This was definitely the highlight of our trip to a Portugal 🙂 me and my friends cannot recommend Fernandos incredible hospitality and perfect tour ! Can’t wait to do that again
