Just back from the west coast tour of Madeira, it was okay but let down by the tour bus. Seats stained and dirty air conditioning not working properly and the driver had no working microphone so had to try and tell about the part island we were visiting which was difficult to hear as we were on the back row and the back doors were constantly rattling. Some of the stops were un necessary as they were literally a tourist stop to lengthen the day. The driver was very nice and polite and explained stuff to us when she had parked up. To sum up if I had to choose between the east or west tour the east wins hands down. Both trips were the same price and both give good value for money but the bus we were on needed some sorting and and a good clean.
