We unfortunately could not do the tour around the island due to an abrupt hurricane warning that came through on the day of our tour. But the "TEAM" called and offered us a KONA side alternative tour that was absolutely safe and very enjoyable. Tyler the Helicopter driver couldn't have been more gracious and also very knowledgeable about the south coast of HI. His is driving of the chopper was smooth, easy and relaxing. Kylie, the receptionist was also very gracious and kind and she was the one that offered us this alternative option. So all in all an excellent experience and my family and I would recommend and use this company again and again.

Very knowledgeable pilot. He provided a lot of history and knew the area very well. Amazing views and definitely would recommend to friends and would book with Mauna Loa again if we ever come back!

Absolutely amazing doors off tour. If you’ve never rode in a helicopter before, don’t sit in the front! It was my first ride and I was scared to death and there’s nothing to hold onto. lol. If you are a thrill seeker and enjoy the feeling of free falling, the front seat is for you!! I am a big chicken. lol. Our pilot was amazing and shared a lot of information about the area and how it was formed. We also got to see a school of about 50 dolphins, which was cool.
