    The views were incredible. It was quite a hike up to the top, but also good views at about 70-80% there. Well paved trial so you could just enjoy the walk. Jonah was an excellent guide, kept us informed on the way out as it was an early start to catch the sunrise. Stopped at two great spots on the way back to hotel! Would do this again on my next trip. Well worth it.

    Jonah was great! Such a great guide- The hike was awesome. Such a beautiful view! Great pictures that we got. Definitely recommend

    Jonah was our tour guide/driver, he was on time and took us to the park while explaining the important points on our way there. Gave us lanterns and showed us the way to the trail. It was a beautiful morning and the views were spectacular. It is a long hike for someone like me (I am in pretty bad shape) but I made it. Totally worth it. Thanks Jonah for tips for breakfast and what to do afterwards. I really enjoyed this tour and recommend it.

    We were picked up at the hotel at 5 am and taken to the entrance to the park. The driver was friendly and informative. He provided us with flashlights we used during the first part of the hike. This was an all uphill hike/walk on a paved path to an overlook above the lighthouse. We made it to the top before the sun came up. The views were beautiful. In addition to some nice views of the lighthouse, there were beautiful views of the coastline. We saw a rainbow and a couple of humpback whales. We stayed at the top a while then made the trip down. Our driver then took us for short stops to see Sandy Beach and also the Halona Blowhole. I'd book this activity again.

    Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! Stephanie was a great guide! She had flashlights for us. Climb was perfect. Not too hard but got the heart pumping. Sunrise was gorgeous. Wish they had a bathroom at the top. We would have hung out a little longer. BUT Stephanie took us to a bathroom and rode us to a few beaches telling us the history. Would definitely do this again and recommend it. Even our teens said it was worth getting up before 5am.

Sunrise Hike at Makapu'u Lighthouse Trail (2 hours) Hike up the Makapuu Lighthouse Trail for one of the best views of the sunrise on the island. 2. Stop by the Halona Blowhole Lookout (10 mins) Enjoy the views of the the Halona Blowhole as it sprays out water from the Pacific Ocean as well as the Halona Cove, which is a small secluded beach often used in movies. Drop off: Waikiki / Kahala
