It is also the perfect way to learn about all of the unique plants and trees that you encounter. Keep your eyes open to spot Emu’s, Kangaroos, Kookaburras and Parrots as the pristine environment swallows you completely. After the ride you can kick back in a comfy chair and relax under the Marri trees as you enjoy a yummy snack and reminisce about the morning’s highlights on your new favourite trails.

Blackwood River National Park

We then head into Blackwood River National Park where an unforgettable Kayaking Adventure awaits. Make yourself comfortable in our spacious double kayaks as we explore the tranquil waters of the Blackwood River as native wildlife entertains both above and below. The Blackwood River is one of Western Australia’s premier kayaking locations and is surrounded by beautiful untouched scenery and wildlife. From the moment we booked right the way to finishing, our guide Paul was fantastic! Organised, friendly, knowledgable and so welcoming. Our day was planned to perfection. There was no rush at any point, the day flowed as we went. From our great activities to lunch being served on arrival, Paul had it covered. There was water and snacks along the way too. Having booked this all the way from the UK the process could not have been easier. Communication was fantastic and everything was in place far before we arrived meaning the day was spent having the most fun. If you’re looking for a way to enjoy some great activities followed by a nice wine tasting, you’re in the right place. Get booked and get onboard this great tour!

What an excellent day out. An enjoyable mountain bike trek in the forest. Canoeing on the blackwood river and a swim at the end. Followed by an excellent platter at Berry Farm and wine tasting at Brown Hill. Would do again if we didn't live so far away. Paul was an excellent host.

The whole day was well planned and Paul was an excellent guide. The mountain biking route was away from tourists and showed us the real countryside. The kayaking was beautiful and again Paul shared his knowledge of the environment and Australia. Lunch was amazing would recommend the beef pie… delicious!! Lastly the wine tasting was superb and very personal, came away with a few bottles!!!! Thank you Paul, we will definitely be back with friends when we come back to the area.

What fantastic locations chosen for all parts of this tour! Mountain biking in quiet sun-dappled forests, kayaking on remote and beautiful Blackwood River. Paul made our day so enjoyable, full of interesting information and knowledge. A delicious and generous lunch at the lovely Berry Farm followed by wine tasting in a boutique winery, a fabulous way to end the day. The tour can accommodate various fitness levels and Paul ensures everyone is okay and getting the best out of the trip. Highly recommend Surf n Dirt Adventures.

My husband and I booked on to a tour with Paul during our honeymoon, it was honestly fantastic and I could not recommend it highly enough. Paul is so knowledgable and down to earth, he really made the tour for us! We went mountain biking, kayaking on the most peaceful river, lunch at a farm and to top it off wine tasting! Paul even bought along comfy chairs so we could relax whilst having a snack and he put the bikes away. We would definitely recommend and if we are ever back in the area I would most definitely book again. Thank you Paul 😊

Mountain bike riding through the bush, was nothing like I've ever done before and we did approximately 12kms. The bikes are great for handling the rough terrain and Paul was excellent at making sure we knew what was coming up around the next depend and how to maneuver around each obstacle. Every part of this tour is well thought out and gives you a different perspective of the region. Paul is an exceptional guide with a great knowledge of the area.
