Absolutely great Tour. Craig is an excellent driver and guide. He goes the extra mile to ensure his guests get an excellent experience. Great wine and wonderful views of a beautiful region. Can't recommend highly enough.

Although just a half day tour, we are still able to do 2 wine tastings. It was such a great deals. Would recommend it.

It is a great half-day trip for all ages. We had a great tour guide. We have experienced not only wine tasting, but also wine country and beach town.

Thos was a wonderful way you view the Adelaide Hills and taste local wines. Our guide Craig was very knowledgeable and gave great insights into Adelaide and the local events Would definitely do this again, great company on the bus lovely people to chat to

Mairead_M

I had the pleasure of attending tastings at two wineries, and the smaller group size allowed me to connect with everyone, enhancing the overall experience. Our guide was not only informative but also incredibly friendly. Additionally, being dropped back to the hotel was an added bonus.

A great way to spend an afternoon in McLaren Vale. Our driver, Craig's, commentary was interesting and informative. He went out of his way to make the tour enjoyable for everyone. The two wineries were very well prepared and provided a good introduction to their wines. Overall the tour was excellent value.

Hello To be clear this trip does not include a visit to a working winery. After an hour in a minibus you simply visit 2 locations for tastings. The hosts at these were charming and at least 2 of the 10 wines tasted were very good. The scenic coastal drive entails driving on a main road with kilometres of houses on one side and the sea on the other. The stop is in a town. One member of our group felt sick and did not board the bus. The cheese board was overpriced A disappointment. There are alternatives that actually visit wineries

We really enjoyed our 1/2 day McLaren & Glenelg Wine tasting tour. Highly recommend it to anyone for a great afternoon of sight seeing, wine tasting & information of this beautiful area.

This is certainly the best value tour ($79) of the McLaren Vale (two) wineries, BUT no food opportunities other than extra paid for ($25) cheese platter. Given that tour runs from 12.30-5.30pm I highly recommend bringing some food to nibble on to ward off the effects of tasting 10 or so different wines. Because the small coach tour goes directly to Chapel Hill winery, then on to Haselgrove, there is absolutely NO opportunity to buy food anywhere, other than pre-ordered (when you get on the bus @12.30) cheese platter at Haselgrove at 2.30pm or so. We first spent an hour at Chapel Hill tasting 2 whites and 2 reds, with a bonus fortified. Same format at Haselgrove but another red instead of the fortified. Very informative talks by winemakers at both places about the wines make it a very complete experience for winefans. I was blissfully unaware that in mid-March it was about halfway through the grape-picking season, so they were talking about X grape we picked last Friday! Our driver James had actually worked 2 vintages himself so able to give very interesting commentary on wine-making generally. When you reach Glenelg 5hrs later is the only place you can buy food, so take your own.

Fantastic afternoon riding out to McLaren Vale and tasting some beautiful Aussie wines. Jason our guide and driver was terrific. Provided an informative and relaxing atmosphere. We elected to hop off in Glenelg and get the tram back to Adelaide. Super great time!
