We really enjoyed the tour. Sira shared her knowledge and passion with us and it was a really interesting and informative experience. She was able to explain things in such a way that gave us insight to similar sites. She was also able to accommodate our travel and we appreciated that. Very glad we did the tour.

The tour with Pedro was fantastic. He shared his in-depth knowledge of cork oaks and megaliths with a lot of humor. We had a great day with unforgettable memories. Thank you for this experience and your helpful tips Tour Out time in Portugal. Pedro is the best!!! ;)

Our guide was very knowledgeable about the l locations we toured. He had great enthusiasm and was very personable. He even added local information and gave pointers on other sites to visit in the area.

We had to drive off road to access these Monolithic stones so be sure of your vehicle before you attempt this road. I suggest missing the first site you come upon because you have to walk a long, narrow difficult path to view the one stone there. That was very disappointing and entails a hot dusty walk. Continue to the larger more significant site where you won't be disappointed. Signs are up which helpfully explain the interesting history and placement of the stones. This site is the one to see. Entry is free. PS. Sorry I can't upload photos of the best site as they were taken on a friends phone and haven't been shared yet.

Joao is an exceptional guide. He is very informative offering interesting facts which he puts in context, making it easy to remember the points he is making. How cork is grown, harvested and turned into manufactured products is fascinating. Joao knows his Neolithic history and made the sites we visited come alive. Very highly recommended.

What a wonderful tour!!!! Joao's English was perfect and he started this tour with interesting information about the history of Evora. We then drove into an area with cork trees and learned all about cork production which was fascinating. We did 3 stops and saw the various megalithics which we never would have been able to see on our own. Just a great tour with a really nice guy and wonderful driver. Craig and Cheri Torrey

Joao provided an enthusiastic, well-informed discussion of three interesting megalith sites, from a comfortable van. We also enjoyed learning about the cork forest ecosystem, and -- special unexpected treat -- came upon real cork cutters working on the side of the road, and stopped to appreciate their work. Bonus -- when we left something behind on the van, he quickly arranged to meet and return it. Tip: it's possible to take the 7 am train from Lisbon Oriente and make it to this 9:30 tour.

Loved the corkforest and learned a lot about Portugals #1 export. Our guide was very knowledgeable. The Megalithic part of it was less interesting to me which surprised me. I might have had different expectations, but again our guide made it entertaining. The ride to the places was on rough country roads. As our guide said " bonus on this trip is the free back massage. Cute!
