Definitely recommend doing this tour. Tamara was our guide, she had tons of good food, bars, shopping, etc recommendations for us. Anything you asked you she was able to give recommendations. Great tour guide! Thanks Tamara we really enjoyed our tour with you. The Multicultural food Tour itself was also great. You get to try a ton of foods and get the history of each one. You will not regret this tour if you love food!

My partner and I had a great time exploring the South Melbourne Market with our tour guide Evan. From a topping and chatting with the vendors to nibbling on new tasty treats, we had an in depth and behind the scenes view of the market. What a great way to try new things that I wouldn’t have stopped and tried on my own.

My partner and I did a tour of the markets with Tristan, who was fantastic, personable, and a joy to hang out with. The two of us were the only ones booked for the group so it became a bit of a private tour where Tristan added in some street art sights and other things relevant to our interests (pointed out some architecture along the tour, which we're super into!). Highly recommend doing the tour with Tristan -- A+!

This food tour was of excellent quality and great value! It definitely covered the multicultural aspect of Melbourne and our guide was sure to also give us a bit of history to accompany the food tour. Mick was an excellent guide and took his time to make sure everyone had a great experience. He went above and beyond giving us individual recommendations of places to explore in Melbourne. We tried a few of the spots and it definitely did not disappoint! This food tour is a MUST for those interested in amazing food and history! 5+ stars and would definitely do again!

We have done lots of tours like this before but what made this one extra special was the detail and passion demonstrated by Tristan who really brought the tour to life and was on hand to tailor it to our likes/dislikes. We also received lots of restaurant recommendations based on our culinary favorites so I would 100% recommend doing this at the start of your holiday so you can continue your food adventure long after the tour.

I booked a Urban Adventures food tour with Trip Advisor through Viator from home over a month before my trip to Australia, choosing between two tours - I chose the one of Melbourne's neighborhoods at 1:30pm for which I would need to buy a tram ticket. The other tour took place inside the Victoria Market, and I decided I would visit on my own. I paid for the tour for 4 persons. A month later in Melbourne we each bought our tram tickets and went to visit the Victoria Market in the morning, spending over 3 hours enjoying the foods and the other items. Meeting our guide at 1:30 we were informed the tour for the neighborhoods had been cancelled and we would be toured around Victoria Market instead. I had attempted to telephone the tour company several times that morning from the hotel to be sure of the time but the phone was not answered. The guide was apologetic and offered to reimburse us for our tram tickets, but a simple email to me when the decision to cancel the neighborhood tour could have prevented our disappointment in this repeat of our own earlier market experience. It certainly was not worth the price we paid. Several of the vendors at the market which were to be visited on the tour were closed. The guide indicated that the website had been modified some time after I paid for the tour. The guide was not at fault but the company took no responsibility for communication with me. I would NOT recommend Urban Adventures to anyone.
