It had been years since I last went diving, but the dive master did a fantastic job of making me feel comfortable. He was a marine biologist, and was very knowledgeable about the fish we saw. Would highly recommend! Reminded me of how awesome scuba diving is!

Me and my partner went for our diving baptism last week. They took us to dive close to the islet and it was really beautiful. Initially, I was a bit anxious but the instructor was amazing. He was so calm and was able to transport that which made me feel really safe and secure. I had some issues with clearing my ears and had to clear often, but we went nice and slow which made it possible for me to do the dive. I am really happy about that! The instructor really made an effort to point out many nice fishes and things to see. It was a great experience!

The crew went above and beyond. Got to see Portuguese Man-O-War and yet still had a blast underwater. My bride (of 29 years) had a great time on the boat as well. The crew was very engaged and friendly and had a wonderful time as well. My dive ended up being a private one that day. Can’t wait to return

Ricardo was very attentive. Took his tim with us made sure we where comfortable for our first time diving. Had rained in the morning so they gave us a discount because wasn’t 100% clear viewing under water. But saw plenty of sea life. Would go with them again. Great time and experience.

We did a dive refresher with Aqua Sub as we hadn’t dived since before Covid. Great team friendly and professional. Conditions weren’t great as the sea was rough but they were honest and took us to a spot where we could still see fish and do the exercises. Everyone was super friendly and made it very relaxed. Top marks, definite recommendation.

Fantastic experience. Ivo, Ricardo and Paulo were very welcoming, friendly and professional. We were first-timers. We had one-to-one guides so it’s tailored to your needs and experience. Ricardo was so patient with me and helped me get over my nerves to have a fantastic time. Lots to see - octopus, eels, hermit crab, all sorts of colourful fish and more. A very beautiful place and we felt very safe. Great ride out and back - we were taken around the small island too. The captain was fab and chatted to us about the island and its history while we waited to dive. Changing facilities. Everything provided. Would definitely recommend.

This was such a perfect activity! We were with a group of 5 (reserve beforehand and make sure you are on time) & 4 from the center. Before we got on the boat to get to the diving location, we got a short but helpful introduction about the basics of scuba diving, with the remark that during this time of the year the visibility isn't that great. We got our gear and went on the boat (you can leave your stuff in a locker in their center): the vibe was relaxed. First 3 others went in, all with their own experienced diver. While we waited on the boat for our turn, we could go snorkeling and later get ready with someone from the center, who was very chatty and eased my nerves as well (my first time diving). We then went in and even though the visibility wasn't perfect, in 30 minutes we saw so much sealife including beautiful fishes, octupus and starfish. I was nervous because my ears tend to hurt due to pressure differences, but my guide Benardo helped me and we just went a little bit slower. My partner already had his PADI, so his guide let him roam more freely, which was perfect that they acknowledged that as well! They purposely let us in the water at the same time so that we could explore together, which was very thoughtful! Came out with a big smile, as expected by the guys on the boat ;). Would recommend! Only thing I would also like now looking back is some pictures of the adventure, but I guess they didn't take those because of the visibility: otherwise they will. Inspired me to get my diving certificate as well.

RIght from the get go we knew we where in safe hands with the crew from Azores Sub Dive Centre. Angela made sure we where well updated with a friendly call followed by our booking via email, the paperwork was ready to fill in as we arrived and we where also greeted by a big hello and friendly smile. The guys in the equipment where all great colourful friendly characters. Myself and my son couldn’t have asked for a better intro. The boat ride was a short spin to the dive site on the beautiful inlet. My dive partner/instructor was Ian, the sharpest french man I have ever met, he didn’t miss a single fish, Nudibranch, Eel or Octopus, it was a fantastic 45 minute dive. My son dived with Ben twice and a has decided that scuba diving is definitely something you wants to do more of and loved every second of the experience. Hats off to all the crew, we will absolutely will dive again with the lads. Top Marks from the Irish boys…!!!
