This was a charming tour. Our guide and driver were excellent and the tour itself was interesting and well thought out. Loved the street art, Little Havana, and the food, beverages & live music! A+++

An enjoyable bus and boat tour although this second time experience was not as encompassing as the 1st experience with Alvin. The art deco coverage was minimal by ‘Jay’ and the boat tour was quite lacking in coverage and length and the guide was not as comprehensive as Ricki and Gabriel in earlier tours in the same month even though most of the shared information was repetitive. This tour was rushed!

samia_f

Although a bit repetitive in a few areas, Alvin did a great job as our bus guide. On the boat, Gabriel was amazingly friendly and fun.

The boat tour with Rickie as guide. Rickie was very informative and very interesting to listen to. All the conditions on the boat were solid, clean, and well planned.

We called ahead on the day to check availability for 11.30 departure, there was and we were advised to book on line and told you can pay on arrival at office. We were about a 20 min walk away. Be aware that on arrival, you will be told “cash only”. With 10 mins to departure we had no choice but to use the in office ATM which of course, charged us. We didn’t find the office staff at all welcoming, in-fact they came across as quite rude. Bus tour itself was fine and quite jovial in places. On arrival to the rather expensive restaurant where you pick up your boat tickets, most people chose to go and eat elsewhere or take the opportunity to shop for an hour. Boat tour was also fine but what they don’t tell you is you will be left for an hour and a half afterwards before being picked up. Quite a few people made their own way back to wherever they were staying at their own expense. It was dusk when we boarded the bus and there were random drop off points, no one was asked where they were staying and we ended up going straight past our hotel, ending up back at base, it was gone 6pm. Good value, yes, but with with 2.5 hours wait time, it made it a long day.

We were not happy about cash only and it really did not warrant the price. We have been on numerous city tours and this one did not meet expectations. We are travelers who expect communication and times to be respected. The arrival and departures were untimely. Also, the location stops felt forced and not authentic to the experience.

Lovely. They have 2 stops which makes the haul even better. What I loved about it most is the route throughout the free ways, just Lovely.

The boat tour portion was with Island Queen and our guide was JB - he made it a 5 star experience. He was like a stand up comedian! take this tour. Regarding the organizers of this tour conbo.....they are terrible at communication so be aware of these IMPORTANT THINGS. 1. when you get on the bus you are given a paper ticket...that is for the BUS ONLY.you must turn that in at the ISLAND QUEEN ticket booth on the water at BAYSIDE MARKET PLACE for a ticket on the boat. If the boat is sold out you wait. He said the leave every 30 min. we made it only because there was room and I begged after having to go in ticket line AFTER waiting in boat line (not knowing you needed a DIFFERENT TICKET. (this happened to EVERYONE on our bus! some did not get on. 2. on the bus there is NO GUIDE AND NO ONE WILL TELL YOU WHEN TO GET OFF FOR THE BOAT TOUR. The audio tour and bus tour are good but when you get to Bayside shopping they stop like any other stop. We had NO IDEA that is where you needed to get off for the boat tour so everyone stayed on the bus. a few of us had read the bad reviews about no communication so we asked and driver said yes off for boat tour. 3. the boat company had a different name and they don't tell you that either :). they also don't tell you that you can stay at Bayside after the boat tour ...or shop the take the boat tour and then jump on the bus much later for a ride back to Lincoln road. great day but stressful at points because of the tour operator NOT telling you the info you need. (no joke, when my husband yelled up to the top..."get off the bus the boat is leaving in 5 minutes! everyone stood up and panicked". I only knew to have he go ask because of a prior review I had read complaining because of the same thing!! 2 year before!! fix it guys..

Very enjoyable bus tour of Miami with Angel of Paradise Tours. It was in both English and Spanish. Stops were at the Miami City Hall and waterfront and a half hour in Little Havana, very enlightening. Wished we had more time to take the second half of the tour in South Beach. Expect an hour to pick up all passengers at the hotels.
