This tour was so informative and interesting. At first we were unsure how it would run but the hosts were so organised and walked us through all aspects of the theatre giving in depth history. We were able to get in the famous boxes and take photos which is beyond expectations. Well run, well researched & well organised. Perfect.

This was a very disorganised tour. We were told to be there at 2.15 for a 2.30 tour. We found the box office staff rude when we asked where we should wait, and we were kept waiting until 2.45 before the tour started. No one in the group of people waiting was sure what to do and none of the staff introduced themselves, then we saw someone by a pillar handing out headphones and audio boxes without calling this to our attention. The tour itself was slow and we felt we’d have rather gone round in our own time for less than half the price. I think it depends on the guide, too, as some have said in reviews that their guide was witty and passionate about the theatre. Ours was dull.

The tour guide was great! He had a way of bringing the museum to life and shared lots of interesting stories about the composers and singers of yore!

Our guide was witty, knowledgeable and passionate about opera and classical music. We learned so much about the history of La Scala on and off the history books. Way better than audio guide. Highly recommend it.

It was good to see the theatre and muesum but the guide was giving us so much information it was hard to keep up with it all, id be surprised if anyone remembers more than 3 things. Information overload. We seen people just wandering around, maybe just paid for a self guide tour which i had tried to find but couldnt see anyway. The guide covers a lot of detail if thats your thing, just not ours but still scored high as its great to see.
