Konigssee

As soon as we have arrived at the beautiful Königssee, we will first enjoy the wonderful landscape on a boat trip to a total of 2 destinations (St Bartholomew's and Salet). While relaxing on the lake you will learn interesting background knowledge about the place and the surrounding region.

Admission Included

St. Bartholomew's Church

Our first boat stop will bring us to the famous St. Bartholomew's Island. There we will discover the historical St. Bartholomew's church, the beautiful surrounding area and stop for a delicious Bavarian lunch in a typical beer garden.

Obersee

Our second boat will bring as to Salet where we will have a short walk (about 15 minutes) to the beautiful Obersee. You'll have plenty of great photo opportunities to take some pictures.

Berchtesgaden Salt Mines

We'll visit and enter the famous Salt Mines. Here you will have time to explore the Mine from the inside. Highlight, the slide or the journey on the Mirror Lake (Spiegelsee) melt with gripping information over the indispensible vital element of salt.

I scheduled an all-day tour to Lake Konigssee and the Berchtesgaden salt mine for my son (age 14) and myself. It was a truly enjoyable day with a FANTASTIC tour guide. The area is so naturally beautiful, and I loved having the chance to soak in the incredible scenery of the lake and the surrounding Alps. Sepp is friendly, engaging, and professional. He communicated with me ahead of time to plan the itinerary and offered to tailor the schedule based on how we wanted to spend the day. He picked us up in a comfortable car and handled all logistics: driving, managing our time, buying tickets, and paying for lunch. He knew the best spots for photos and provided interesting information and stories about the geography and history of Bavaria. He was also very accommodating of my teenager. ;) We just relaxed and enjoyed the day. Sepp provided us with a wonderful Bavarian experience, and we felt like we ended the day with a new German friend. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. (Note: I booked this tour through Sepp's own tour guide website, which was easy and less expensive.)

Our goal was it to explore the south east region of Bavaria. We wanted to see lake Koenigsee as well the Saltmine Berchtesgaden. Our hotel concierge recommended us Sepp the bavarian guide. What a recommandation. What a wonderful time. Sepp made our day count! Besides his great knowledge about the history of Bavaria he tought about everything to make us fell good and happy. All our wishes regarding lunch, drinks, snacks and small adjustments in the tour itinerary were successfully implemented. The only thing we regret is that we haven't booked all our tours with Sepp. He offers a great selection of day trips. Don't make the same mistake!

First, i thought he would be a lot older… but apparently seepp is a great guide with great personality, good sense of humour & he took care of us.. first, he picked us up at the hotel on time with a comfortable car.. basically u will get what u paid for.. his service was above & beyond. he even dressed up in traditional germany clothing for us to experience what a true bavarian adventure 😂 he was prepared, he emailed me days before to make sure that we will get the best experience possible. he would prepare some snacks in the car & he even carried some drink in his back packs on our way to obusee. he drove us safely to our destination & we will never felt rush during the trip.. i would say he’ll make sure us feel comfortable & more like traveling with a friend.. but dont get me wrong, he will answer every questions that we came across.. very knowledgeable guide. thank u.

Wir können den Ausflug zum Königssee mit dem Sepp nur weiterempfehlen (der Sepp wurde uns von unserem Münchner Hotel empfohlen). Sehr netter und unterhaltsamer Guide! Abholung pünkltich, Verpflegung im Auto hervorragend, Mittagessen lecker, Ablauf der Tour gut durchdacht, gutes Wissen über die Sehenswürdigkeiten. Alles in allem sein Geld wert.
