As the first boat to arrive at the crater, the waters will be uncrowded. Here, you'll also enjoy a delicious continental breakfast. Water visibility at this prime diving and snorkeling spot often reaches 180 feet (55 meters)! If you need a break, relax on the boat’s comfy pontoons and soak up the sun. After snorkeling in the crater, head to the backside of Molokini Crater, a place many people rarely see, for another snorkeling experience.

On your way to your final snorkeling destination, 'Turtle Town,' hug the Maui coastline and view the island’s most recent lava flow on the way to beautiful La Perouse Bay. The bay is a natural habitat for the Hawaiian spinner dolphin, so keep a look out and get your camera ready!

This was my second time in Hawaii First time was 5 years previous and the snorkeling trip out of Waikiki was the highlight of the trip for me. But I saw a wider varity of fish snorkeling off the beach in front of my hotel than I did on this trip. Maybe my expectations was set to high thinking I was going to see something new. They did the best they could with the weather they had, The first stop the crater was under welmining. not much in way of fish but the coral was neat I listened to the guide and stayed where he said maybe if I went off further towards the crater wall may have saw more. The second stop in front of the crater was not for the faint of heart, It was rough maybe on a calmer day would have been nice I didnt feel comfortable with my wife and daughter getting in they are healthy and fit but not the most athletic. I got in and regretted it, Caught a wave wrong coming back to the boat, got a lung full of water by the time I recovered the current took me some distance and it was alot of work to get back to the boat. Was tired, winded and boat was rocking alot in the rough seas ended up smacking my knee on the ladder trying to get back in and the made the rest of the trip less fun. Next stop (the dolphins) was canceled since it was to rough not sure of the name of where we stopped next but it was ok basically swimming off the beach. The last stop was with the Turtles and that was what I was looking forward to. Ended up not getting in since at the last stop I had a hard time getting back into the boat knee was really hurting. Weather made the trip less than ideal under the right circumstances it probably would have been great as it was wish I would have saved my money.

We originally booked with another company but were told by our local friends before we came to try this company as the groups aren’t as large. We were glad we did. Everything from booking to the actual experience was top notch. The only one that takes you outside to the other side of the crater to experience “the elevator” which was the highlight for me. Genuinely nice people who look out for your safety and that you are having a good time and the group size is perfect. We were off the pride of America cruise ship and got a car the day before as it was an early morning start. Glad we did.

Saw whales and one staff member (a woman) was extremely knowledgeable about what’s which was really interesting and awesome. Didn’t make it to la Perouse Bay due to weather but maybe next time. My 3 teenagers loved the trip! Turtle was cool. Back side of Molokini crater was awesome and inspiring

Went out with this crew on Spring Break in Maui. Great captain and 1st mate. Safe, informative, and fun. Super laid back and accommodating. Molokini water - especially the backside - was amazingly clear. We saw turtles, rays, spinner dolphins, and whales. An amazing morning with Red River.

Jake and Chase were fun and easygoing hosts that guided us to see a wide array of sea creatures including dolphins (with a baby), whales, dozens of sea turtles and hundreds (maybe thousands) of fish. My kids had almost as much fun on the boat ride with the music playing and the waves crashing as the snorkelling itself. Definitely an amazing experience that was worth every penny!

Had a fantastic time on this trip with Redline Rafting! Chase and Allie were terrific guides-they knew the area well, made sure we were all well informed to keep us all safe and having fun and both were easy going and incredibly funny! Great trip for anyone!

This is our third Redline boat trip and I can’t recommend this company more. Their guides are always terrific, warm, welcoming, and fun. The small boat size just makes for a better experience—if a bumpier ride! On this cruise, we snorkeled in four different places —there was just much more time in the water than a snorkel cruise we took on a bigger boat. It was a great morning.

The crew was top notch, friendly and helpful! From beginning to end, we enjoyed the Snorkeling, giant waves, many many sea turtles and a full whale tail mamma and baby! The breakfast and lunch was much appreciated! The crew was patient and kind! We highly recommend this tour.
