My parents and I went on a tour of Sintra and Cascais with Vasco. He was an absolute gem! He was extremely conscientious, going above and beyond by treating us like family. He was knowledgeable and a delight. Highly recommend a tour with the multi-talented Vasco!

We booked last minute for a next day tour of Sintra from Cascais on Viator and rcvd confirmation right away. A few moments later Vasco called to inform us that they are fully booked the next day and if I Cld change to Friday which fortunately after moving few things around we were able to.
Nuno met us promptly at the lobby before our start time and was very professional and courteous throughout the tour. The van was clean and well maintained with drinks of water on board. He took his time to explain the sights along the way to the palace and at the palace giving us a good lesson of all pertinent history. After which we had a rest at one of the legendary cafe for pastries and coffee after we declined lunch. Nuno was relaxed and jolly throughout the tour always happy to assist in any shopping at the various shops. We proceeded to other places of interests. We will call upon Vasco and Nuno again for our next trip back! Thank you for a lovely day trip Nuno. Hope to see you soon.

We had an amazing time in Sintra with Vasco! He showed us through some of the palaces as well as the local city streets. He is very knowledgable on the city and the history. Would highly recommend Vasco for everything Sintra!

We had a very nice tour round Sintra/Cascais with Vasco, one of the owners of the company. He took us of course to the monuments/must sees of the area but in addition also to a lot of very nice places/monuments, much less touristic, where you otherwise (alone or with tuktuks) wouldn't have come. He gave us a lot of nice information about everything we visited. Unbelievable how much he knows. There was also very much room to talk about other stuff. It was just a really fun tour, the 4/5 hours just flew over. There was no pressure at all to finish the tour in a hurry. Vasco fully adapts to the pace and needs of the customer. If you want to stay longer at a certain place, you can stay longer. If you are thirsty/hungry, Vasco takes you somewhere to eat/drink, etc.
If you are going to visit Sintra and want to see/hear more about the history I would definitely recommend that you go with Vasco or this company.

We went on a spontaneous personal tour around Sintra, Cabo da Roca, and Cascais. Despite quite the suboptimal weather (sometimes pouring rain & wind), which even Vacso couldn't change, we still had a great time exploring the area and learned a lot of insights about the area's rich history. Definitely a 11/10 experience :)

My wife and I were planning to visit Sintra, without a very concise plan. On arrival from Lisbon by train at Sintra, we met Vasco Faleira who quickly made it clear that he could show us more faster and with a better experience than we ever could do ourselves. He wasn't kidding! He got us booked for Pena Palace and we killed time by going off the beaten path to some amazing locations with nobody there while telling us about Sintra and its history. After the palace he took us to an amazing lunch at a local place where he knew the owner. A very special experience. He concluded the day by driving us to Cascais with some stops along the magnificent coast. From there we were able to use our train tickets (as Vasco had explained to us in Sintra!) to go back to Lisbon. It was so helpful to have a local like Vasco guide us. Vasco was a true gem, we couldn't recommend him more!

Vasco was such an amazing and knowledgeable guide. His insight care and humour made our trip to Sintra so special, and he catered our journey to our interests so well. We packed a lot in, Montserrat was amazing and a lovely calm start, he took us for lunch to a beautiful tavern in a village and we ended at Quinta Regalia which was fascinating. Only advice is skip Pina Palace - we went there at 1pm and ended up leaving without seeing the inside of the palace. It’s just far to busy and hot and you que up only to join the next que.

I am well travelled, and I can confidently say this day tour takes the cake of any I have attended. Our tour with Vasco was nothing short of spectacular. He picked us up from our hotel in Lisbon and catered the entire day to what we wanted to see and do. You can tell he is passionate and knowledgeable about this area of Portugal and he really personalized the tour - it felt like we had a friend showing us around! His is a family-owned company as well which we really appreciated. Vasco was also so kind - it is colder in Sintra due to the elevation and he lent me his sweater to wear all day (I highly recommend wearing a sweater when you go). He took us to his favourite locations in the area which were all so beautiful. I would 100% recommend this tour with Cazzulu to anybody hoping to visit Sintra, and I definitely plan on doing this tour again in the future, next time with visiting some of the other monuments in the area. Obrigada Vasco & family - we will be back!!!

We had an amazing tour with Vasco as our tour guide. He took my friends and I to all the bet viewpoints and attractions in Sintra, explaining the history and symbolism of each place. He also took us to spots that were more "off the beaten track," so to speak. He was very knowledgable, nice, and easy to talk to. It was my birthday the day we did our tour and he went out of his way to make it special, even buying me a birthday cake and having a singer sing me happy birthday! I could not have asked for a better day or tour.
